Thanks a million for the video. Going crazy for hours. Why would they hide the control tabs by default ? I've used this function in other versions for years. "macros" are confusing and don't seem to do anything except completely blow. Cheers.

How can we get OBS end live streams in multiple instances of OBS, and starts other live streams without our intervention? If even doable

Since Advanced Scene Switcher's settings are in the Scene Collection, you'll need a separate one of those for each instance if you don't already. Then you would need to find or make an appropriate trigger for each one to respond to: hotkeys, websockets, audio volume, video content match, system time, etc.

Many thanks chief, after watching several other videos this post finally managed to get me where I wanted to be, concise, directly to the point and even had a blooper for good measure. Is it possible to add a voice chat widget for and social media platform so that guests, followers etc can communicate directly as well as using the standard chat boxes?

but how do i make the sequence switch more than 2 scenes? Like I have 3-4 cameras with diff angles and I want it to switch from 1 to 2 the 3 etc

You would create separate scenes for each camera in OBS and then automate the switching between those cameras / scenes in the Advanced Scene Switcher plug-in.

@@livemindedvideo3606 yup is already did that and I figured out how to do it . You have to use the RANDOM tab and remove any sequences Add all 4 scenes to random tab and adjust each transition and hold time so it looks like a natural production switcher ^_^

When I click "Go to download," it doesn't download like it does for you here, it just takes me to a page that says "Minor changes and bug fixes" with a list of stuff.

This is the download page of OBS itself : obsproject.com/download Currently they are already up to OBS 29, which we have not tested yet, but you can either upgrade to that or try downgrading to under previous versions, to OBS 28 if you still have issues with advanced scene switcher with 29. You may then also need to reinstall the Advanced Scene Switcher if it is not showing after you update OBS.

I already have OBS installed, and I want to download and install Advanced Scene Switcher, but when I click "Go to download" like you say in the video, instead of downloading it, it just takes me to a screen with a list of minor changes and bug fixes and whatnot. I can't find where to download and install Advanced Scene Switcher because the link you clicked on doesn't download and install it and instead serves as a link that takes me to another page.

I was just able to install version 1.22.1 (advanced-scene-switcher-windows-x64-Installer.exe) from the page: github.com/WarmUpTill/SceneSwitcher/releases/tag/1.22.1 If you want to access prior versions of the plugin you can access them through its history page: obsproject.com/forum/resources/advanced-scene-switcher.395/history

I have downloaded installed AdvancedSceneSwitcher, w/OBS closed. When I open OBS, the Tools menu still shows Auto Scene Switcher, not Advanced....

What operating system as well as what version of OBS are you running? Also, a way to see if the plugin is running is you can check if it is active on the General tab / the status dock in OBS.

For what specific purpose? Are you looking to switch cameras or use it to mute audio for example? If you are looking to use it for camera switching, it is probably possible but not without a complex setup.

For the Rode Podcaster audio, you probably do things like mute the audio for example. As previously mentioned you could probably use for the cameras too but it would be a complex setup.
