Obs BBC engine swap. Rod knock? Cracked Flexplate? Advice needed.

I'd take a close look at that flexplate if it was mine. I've heard that sound before. It stopped when ya gave it gas, came back at idle. My guess is the flexplate is fucked.

Don't really sound like a rod knock. It would get louder when ya give it gas.

I'll tell you what young man I wouldn't quite recommend it Take the motor out and just do a crank kit to it check the crank make sure it's not scratched up
