I don't know why this worked and too tired to figure out but it was a hack of sorts using skills you taught to everything fresh out of box newb (OBS and Stream Deck and all that goes with is foreign territory). I wanted to switch cameras on same piece of OBS real estate without switching scenes (which is easy enough just by controlling inputs). However, putting multiple cameras on one piece of canvas causes layer primacy issues and just using scene to switch on and off wasn't cutting it. I used your Multi Action and set camera one to off in OBS. In Multi I called the switched off camera ist and then the already switched on camera second. I could then use the scene button I created for the switched on camera to toggle it on and off with layer primacy so both worked... I'm sure if I was fresh i could figure out what/how I did but just enough energy to throw it your way and be done for the evening. Thanks for the great tutorial !!!

I just used sources instead of scene, your tutorial helped me to figured out. 1 stream on my channel today. i m using mobile version to start the stream remotely without having to edit video. incredible piece of hardware i guess. time will tell.

When I switch accounts Stream Deck resets all the scenes and I have to manually change them. Is there any way I can switch accounts without affecting the scenes?

QUESTION: Yes or No works if you see this comment on your old video. Right now, I use OBS hotkeys on the keyboard to switch between scenes but I constantly run into issues of it not working when an application on my non-OBS monitor is selected. When I hit the hotkey, I mess something up in Keynote, other software, or lose my spot on a KZbin video I'm reacting to. Then, I have to select OBS to get the hotkeys to work again (and sometimes they just stop working altogether). Will the streamdeck and its OBS plugin fix this problem? (so I can switch scenes flawlessly without accidentally hitting a shortcut key in another application at the same time)

I am having trouble getting OBS to work. Will the Stream Deck help in setting up OBS. Mainly it's getting the background images for video calls. I want to use it for video calls with Kaiser who uses Microsoft Teams. Later I want to use it to make music videos guitar and songs from my KZbin channel. Nice video! im sad my "sound board play audios" are not sounding Full and Clear on OBS (recording or streaming). The audio keeps cutting in and out when i activate a multiaction that has sound added w/ Play Audio. Im using the wave 3 and the wave link software. I have the Stream deck Output set to SFX tab in Wave Link. I can hear it crystal clear, OBS just cant record or stream this sound clearly it picks up the sound just very dim and fading in and out. Any suggestions?

Fantastic video, thank-you! Everything you demonstrated works perfectly on my Stream Deck EXCEPT for the "Source" button programming. When I program an image or video clip into a button it shows up but it does not trigger the action automatically. All the other buttons execute the required tasks (including camera changes, recording, website launches etc), but anything programmed through the "source" does not launch. Those scenes only launch if I click them in OBS. If I click them in OBS they launch fine and I can then stop and start them with the Stream Deck. It seems that once the scene of the "source" file is highlighted in OBS, the assigned stream deck button will work, but if I'm on a different scene, then the stream deck does not launch the source (hope all that makes sense). I can't find a solution online and I'm hoping you might have an idea? Thanks again.

Just one thing I want to know, what is that animation (pink,blue triangle animation) called in your video to switch from your facecam to your screen recording, I know it is on the editing because it is a KZbin video but can I also put that kind of animation during stream for like before I switch back to my facecam I could play it first? Hi I use different browsers for different uses. E.g. Chrome for all my browsing, Opera for all my social media, Edge for my work. I am setting up the stream deck, setting up website shortcuts. However all shortcuts open in the default browser i.e. Chrome. How do I make certain websites to open in specific browser? E.g. Outlook to open in Edge, but KZbin to open in Chrome. Thanks

Hello Awall, firstly thank you for making this video. Question... I like to live stream tutorials on youtube that teach marketing and business concepts. If I was to program an intro button, I'm about to purcahse the regular sized streamdeck. I want to know, if I wanted to use the multifunction button could I program it, to play a 16 second video mp4 intro, and then once finished automatically enable my mic and display my live stream overlays? Then when I want to run a "subscribe n stay notified" call to action button, this can mute my mic, flash up my socials (programmed in a OBS scene) etc... all at the touch of a button. Leaving my mind clear to stay on topic about what it is I am saying and not getting myself distracted with the tech.
