Hi Dusty. I am not a gamer but you are the only one that can help me right now (OBS "help" service could not help me so here I am. Thank you so much, you manage to make me understand, being an absolute non-technical person, how to make a slideshow for my webinar in OBS. I have a problem though and I have been trying for almost 2 weeks to figure it out myself but no good. I have a recorded introduction video and a slideshow for my webinar. I need to use OBS to record that to become a webinar. I did drag the video into the slideshow, added the slideshow to OBS (the video is in the slideshow as the first slide), went to settings and changed the hotkeys to manual from automatic and to use the right and left arrows when moving the slides when I am talking. It worked and I had it all recorded with intro video first and the slideshow after with me controlling the slides. Unfortunately I need to change some of the slides so I had to do it again, and this time I just cannot get it to work? I start with dragging the video into the first slide in the slideshow and it all works. Now I am saving the whole slideshow including the video slide in JPEK format. I go back to OBS and add it into OBS as an image slide show, same as I did the first time, but now it does not work! Playing it in OBS the video will play and then start the slides, but they are only on automatic mode? I need to have them on manual when talking and recording the webinar. I have gone back numerous times checking the settings and the hotkeys and they set on the right settings and also saved? What am I doing wrong? It was so easy the first time and it worked. I have find a few times when I am doing this again ( I tried everything that I could ever think about…) when the slideshow work with the settings I want then the video is not downloading on the slide, just as a photo? Help please. Thanks

Really excellent job. This is my third day into streaming after downloading Streamlabs. I know very little about either. I wanted to determine how to manually control a slide show using SL but could not find a video so I saw this video. It looks like the two are similar enough to adapt between products. Great tip on the hotkeys. I had used the slideshow before, but did it through timing and that was a nightmare to sync with sound. The hotkey method will work much better for my uses. Thanks!

Thanks. I was not able to use a power point presentation comfortably. So I had to resort to making it into a deck of png files. I did not have to create hotkeys. OBS version I have in 2022 provided buttons directly.

I have a question regarding Image Gallery in OBS. Here's the problem & question. I created a scene for my Image Gallery and brought in 4 images for a test podcast. I'd like to use OBS to record a video podcast. I followed your instructions and it seems the images are oversized. I'm recording at 1280x720. I have not tested at 1080, yet. From what I can see, OBS would be a perfect solution for recording a video podcast with one talking head and images with text on it. That's all I did on my earlier videos.

Question: i tried to put more than 10 images and it locked up. I added a second slide show and it completely duplicated the first slide show. I tried to switch between the two to make one full show and it continuously kept duplicating each other. I've not seen this type of bug before. Any thoughts.

How do you make a sliding slide show while you are streaming then having this faded effects through a different image? like when you're done streaming, but the viewers can still see you or your game on their screen then an image/logo pops-up with a faded effect. I am making a slideshow in a window in the top left, my images are slightly different sizes and I would like them to align to the top left of the slideshow window, but they align centrally (in the vertical).
