"A Valediction" - Full Lyrics (00:00) 1. Forsaken We ride on cosmic wings, towards this bitter end As choir of the fallen, we descend Revealed in silence, merged sublime Divined eternity, into oblivion On astral radiating storms towards the end A halo moulded in celestial divine Hymn of the nocturnal A choral of perdition Salvation of fate, we are glazed in creed In aeons, revealed in silence splendorous and bright Forsaken, a perennial epitaph Abandoned, a world blazed in cosmic fire eclipsed Deliverance in shivered flesh Secluded, sole detached maelstrom infinite In allegiance we preach the sermon Perpetual bliss, the nemesis of worlds In aeons, revealed in silence splendorous and bright Forsaken, a worthless entity Dissolving, a convergent form of stars (07:16) 2. Solaris I despise this journey through my will Ordained to sanctify I devour their dismay As an astral parasite, decreed to purify We are, we are the damned and isolated In solitude disengaged We are conjured and segregated In abeyance transcended I am the fallen shining star An evoked blazing scar We derived in solitude The usurper omniscient in vale Sere encrusted, we collude We're nauseated, we descend in faith I recall their bitter afterglow Illusions and visions designed Their eagerness seduced, neurotic fears entranced Their power of volition deranged I condemn, comprehend and will deny Redeem and dignify I am entranced in scattering light Divined and reunite We derive in solitude The usurper omniscient in vale We condemn our fate I remind, recall their bitter afterglow Illusions and visions designed Their eagerness seduced, neurotic fears entranced Their power of volition deranged I am the fallen shining star An evoked blazing scar I am entranced in scattering light Divine and reunite Sere encrusted, we collude We're nauseated, we descend in faith (10:58) 3. A Valediction Within our lives, through persistency Beyond this journey, and continuity I perceived decay, as an act of volition In vain endeavor, abandoned in despair A last farewell, in bright nightshade When we depart, so pale and fade Within our lives, though all perseverance Beyond this odyssey, and pursuance I perceived decay, as an act of volition In vain endeavor, abandoned in despair A last goodbye, beneath the wraith Our vows refined in vanished faith We abide in pitch black mass Deliverance, released in distress We leave this world and tear apart We refine in profound bliss Redemption, the universes final kiss A last farewell, in bright nightshade When we depart, so pale and fade A last goodbye, beneath the wraith Our vows refined in vanished faith (14:25) 4. When Stars Collide Throughout there is no faith, now let us embrace and part You embark into the cosmic sea And I am glad, yes glad with all my heart Eternally, I live free At our final journey, we cancel all our vows When we will meet in aeons once again If only vanity and illusion allow Once more I will sustain and retain A last goodbye, we blaze divine When stars collide, I survive An endless void, in eternal night With sacred wings of formless light Throughout there is no hope, we fear in silent wrath You pursue the left-hand path With my will resigned, my passion speechless lies You disappeared, ablaze the skies Beyond the stars and endless skies As a shade you will pass by I hear you say goodbye My faith is kneeling, remaining in disguise While primal innocence is closing-up your eyes A last goodbye, we blaze divine When stars collide, I survive An endless void, in eternal night With sacred wings of formless light Beyond the stars and endless skies As a shade you will pass by I hear you say goodbye Beyond the stars and endless skies As a shade you will pass by I hear you say goodbye (19:33) 5. In Unity Voiceless demise we disperse in grief and pain Gone our past, forgotten, vanished at last relieved, appeased in faith Our stars align, septic, fouled divine as fatalist, as nihilist I disappear Arise, condemn, and liberate our might conjure eternal sight Alive and vivid we evoke eternal light infinity, heavenly and bright In unity, in sanctity evolved unbound In purity, in decency emerged profound In an age of enlightenment, our final confession made a spiritual odyssey, this eternal journey begun We leave, we leave this shattered earth in misery, we forsake this forlorn place We leave, we leave this perished world in agony, we resign and fall from grace (24:21) 6. Devoured Usurper A devoured usurper repents His confession to survive Entranced betrayer, eviscerated and immured The progeny of traitors just ends I overcome distress and I can confess I defeat emptiness And refuse despair, in misery I swear I will not suppress and I will repossess I won't regress Inflamed, this universe An enslaved perception descends In shattered pieces paralyzed In his holiness a coward sanctifies As a false pretender, an odious hypocrite A faithless deceiver, annihilated and deceased In treachery their silence amends I overcome distress and I can confess I defeat emptiness And refuse despair, in misery I swear I will not suppress and I will repossess I won't regress Inflamed, this universe As dissembler, arrant liar, unfold I obtain, and I prevail I recreate, and I dominate I pervade, and I control I radiate, and enshrine your rotting soul In his holiness a coward sanctifies As a false pretender, an odious hypocrite A devoured usurper repents His confession to survive I overcome distress and I can confess I defeat emptiness And refuse despair, in misery I swear I will not suppress and I will repossess I won't regress Inflamed, this universe I overcome distress and I can confess I defeat emptiness And refuse despair, in misery I swear I will not suppress and I will repossess I won't regress Inflamed, this universe (29:51) 7. The Beyond Their heir apparent with a shining crown In reviled disgrace, our gods dethroned I confess my guilt, with volition I will drown My grief profound, in oblivion intoned Farewell, beyond this heaven and hell Farewell, where your lies and remains will dwell In eternal wisdom, they are blessed with fate In mere dishonor, since annihilated I perceived distress, my perseverancе dissipates Embraced in triumph, resplеndence divined Farewell, beyond this heaven and hell Farewell, where your lies and remains will dwell Their heir apparent with a shining crown In reviled disgrace, our gods dethroned I confess my guilt, with volition I will drown My grief profound, in oblivion intoned Farewell, beyond this heaven and hell Farewell, where your lies and remains will dwell (33:41) 8. Orbital Elements II Guitar goes Brrrrr... (37:42) 9. The Neuromancer I ought to go In wisdom, you will rot In delusive prudence sought I strove towards untold In cognition I behold Lost in reverie, mesmerized I drown Unsealed, adopted creed despoiled In vain revealed, raised fear unsoiled Neuromancer, obsessed, unseen, remote-controlled We are addicted, overdosed in creed Our freedom of faith Worthless science and meaningless greed We are the sainted ones The failed survivors paced into abyss I need to leave in rigor consciousness In deceptive freedom of thought I vowed to comprehend In gnoses, I ascend The final elegy, entranced I disappear Unsealed, adopted creed despoiled In vain revealed, raised fear unsoiled We are addicted, overdosed in creed Neuromancer, obsessed, unseen, remote-controlled We are addicted, overdosed in creed Our freedom of faith Worthless science and meaningless greed (42:24) 10. In Adversity Maelstrom calls and I will fade away our hopes dissolve in human clay When tribulation scores and your beliefs escape my faith will dwell in eclectic shape Above the sky, beyond the stars just let me fly, embraced with scars Into the void, with fire faith destroyed, the dying of the light, in pale dismal night We are the damned, we are enslaved We are the cursed, enforced in vain We are the doomed, we are constrained We are the spoiled, in grief and pain My downfall calls, and I pursue my way we stay the course in slow decay When adversity occurs and your eyes ablaze my wish remained in confusing maze (46:33) 11. Heritage Within demise, I rise and fall In profound abyss and I surrender Down and below, I dwell in rapture Shrouded in misery until I fade I fall from grace I ascend in light As a solar eclipse Above and below, I drowned in gloom An everlasting bloom, the final dawn of inner strife An immersed enigma, has come to pass Engrossed contender, a pitch-black mass Consumed by twilight, emerging blackness Veiled in agony, herewith I fade I fall from grace I ascend in light As a solar eclipse Above and below, I drowned in gloom An everlasting bloom, the final dawn of inner strife In spiritual abyss, a burden of untold Devoured, dissolved, in esperance unfold I fall from grace I ascend in light As a solar eclipse Above and below, I drowned in gloom An everlasting bloom, the final dawn of inner strife Above and below, I drowned in gloom An everlasting bloom, the final dawn of inner strife

Loved it! Gets back in touch with some of the gothenburg-style riffing that kept earlier material grounded, while still in dialogue with the prog-odysseys of recent years. The production is clear but still crunchy, with a really pristine tone dialed in for soloing.
@trailsdetails40612 жыл бұрын
The solo from Forsaken feels like I've discovered Fermented Offal Discharge, the sequel. I recently picked up on Obscura again, was blown away by Diluvium, and decided to give this a listen to. Right out of the gates, Forsaken is an absolute MASTERPIECE. No one with even an ounce of knowledge regarding music theory can deny just how well written this music is.
@DenvarShay Жыл бұрын
This album randomly played while I was working today, 1st thing that struck me was that solo. 1st section is similar in ways to fermented, sounds almost identical as a section of tempest by Vinnie Moore, and the mid section is almost note for note, from the Ozzy song Bark at the moon, and it is awesome.

@@rorke6092 it's dystopian for post-modern european mind tho; also I do have information that high islamic leaders will erase all the marginal element of african islamic "ultras" as soon as muslims will take the reins of government, so they will bring to life an ancient thing of south-european caliphate, which was present in the early middle-ages. It won't be a reign of chaos, it won't be a reign of european white people too tho.
