The Seven Knights of Marronnier Kingdom was chosen as the number one manga for female readers in 2018 by the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! annual magazine. Pinky Candy Kiss' description reminds me of the great Run Away with Me by Battan.

I binged the series a couple months ago, and it just punched me in the feelings over and over. seriously as long as the anime actually moves. the studio behind it doesn't have a ton of credits, but there's no red flags there. and Kensuke Ushio's doing the music! so it's going to SOUND great. some of those emotional scenes backed up by soft music would just be...amazing.

It really sucks that most yuri manga is untranslated. There are so many amazing wlw stories out there and I really wish they were more accessible for english readers. Many of my favorite yuri series havent been offically licensed yet but i do hope that with the recent rise in popularity that yuri has seen that we may get some of the lesser known series in english. I mean it wasnt too long ago where we barely got one yuri anime a year but last year we got like 6!! Ive even been seeing some series i love get licensed like just a few months ago we got the news that "i want to love you till your dying day" is going to get an english release next year!! I read it around 4 years ago and it really stuck with me i cant wait to see how it holds up!! And with "the guy she was interested in wasnt a guy at all" getting an english release i cant help but be excited for the yuri genre!! And with your manifestation abilities please get "sukeban to tenkousei" licensed i beg

I never read Gakuen Alice, but the setting is right up my alley One old manga I wish was in English is Chiisana Ochakai, a 4 koma manga about a cute anthropomorphic cat couple. the title says I've never heard of them but I've read some of two of them. because they shared a particular tag on a site that starts with M and ends with x and is banned in several countries. both of them are insanely good though and I'd love to read them with better translations (the ones that exist aren't godawful but they're not top shelf by fan translation standards by any means). everything I HAVEN'T heard of here sounds great, I'm just taken completely off guard that I actually knew 2/6.

There are a couple shoujo fantasy series that have recently begun serialization in Yuri Hime that I'm really enjoying: Garan no Hime, a sort of post-apocalyptic science fantasy / steampunk Chobits, and The Best Ending in the World, about a graveyard keeper and her undead companion / familiar / protector. Both have great fantasy art - Garan no Hime reminds me a little of Land of the Lustrous - and the fact that both are published in Yuri Hime means that they're not coy about delivering the yuri goods. Pinky Candy Kiss is probably the best new adult-focused yuri series going (I've already picked up both volumes in print), but if I were going to pick one other recent adult yuri series to be manifested into a license, it would be the recently completed My Sister's Best Friend, My Lover, which stands out for me both because it ends up heading in a wildly different direction than its premise would indicate (which is aptly summarized by the title, with a soupçon of maybe-incest stirred in) but also because it is a very quiet series that works precisely because it is so subtle and subdued. A really pleasant surprise for me, and reasonably compact at 4 volumes without feeling rushed or incomplete. Also if anybody felt like licensing literally any of Tokuwo Tsumu's series, starting with the effervescently charming Ise-san and Shima-san, I would readily buy them again in English. Her art is on par with Battan's (Run Away With Me Girl, as well as a ton of other great stuff that is still unlicensed HINT HINT) and her stories are always adult and frequently extremely moving. Outside of yuri, if somebody would license Kashimashi Meshi (it already has a live-action drama, for crying out loud!), Onna no Sono no Hoshi (it already has an OVA, for crying out loud!), or Nagi no Oitoma (it already has a live-action drama, for crying out loud!), I'd really appreciate it. There REALLY aren't enough translated josei works out there.

I was shocked by how well My Sister's Best Friend, My Lover veered away from problematic tropes. kind of baited with the spice which drove my morbid curiosity, only to become genuinely heartwarming. it's all about moving past an impossible crush to something real - it's just like, you know, the impossible crush is her own sister.

Also, Eila is be pronounced as "aylah", I believe.
