The general feeling I read in the comments here is shared by me. Since the moment I discovered this band a chasm in my musical needs was bridged. This passion for Medieval music, the darkness and beauty of Black Metal, and the guitar duets are breathtaking to me. And the vocals are just spot-on. Not too shrieky like some BM bands, not too deep (grasping Death Metal approach). I'm amazed how this European sensitivity to ancient times has actually taken place amidst USA soil. Well done ! Cannot wait for your next work. Do take your time, please. Life-changing band.

Altars of Moss (incredible progression and tension/release), Title Track (heavenly harmony lead guitar lines), The Wounded Fox (glorious stop/start passages and a rhythm guitar bit that rips my face off), The Starlit Shore (aggressive and powerful throughout) and Cabin Lights (at once heroic and mournful) are the highlights.

The album pretty much transforms my home into another dimension at night and I absolutely love it, completely unable to believe it's not more popular. @@BigeggsBlackPen you would definitely dig evanescent, everfading album and august wernicke from finnish blackened melodic death, from pre 2000’s and with huge atmospheres… from fall of the leafe. Tanner anderson put them on his facebook page as one of his biggest inspirations. And jussi hanninen, the mind behind fall of the leafe said to me on message, that he would not like to make a project with tanner because both of them sound so similar they would have anything to add on to each others sound… which i disagree with! Similar minds make extraordinary stuff together
