Observation Elevator - Delta Hotel Montreal

Riding aboard the Observation Glass Elevator at the Hotel Delta Centre-Ville in Downtown Montreal. From the main floor up to the roof level, where the revolving restaurant is.

I kept pressing the button, and the right elevator kept showing up.

It's shame I didn't get to ride the centre elevator. It has a bigger observation window.

I remember staying in a hotel in Montreal in 1982 that had windows in the elevators on both sides, one on the street and one on the interior walls of the hotel. I remember on the interior side you could see the pool going by as you rode up, and likewise you could see the elevators going up in the pool area. I thought that it was so cool. Was this hotel around in 1982? Or was that a different hotel? I was just 6 at the time myself. :)

That's probably the hotel you stayed at. I used to go in here back in the 80's as well, and would ride up and down this elevator to watch the city skyline. I never wanted to ride on the row of elevators that would face the inside of the building, I would always wait for the middle glass elevator. :)
