Observation Peak - Banff National Park (Icefields Parkway) - Igorot Hikers

Drove around 240 km to the trailhead. We can't find the trail, so we did some bushwhacking through dense forest. Above the tree line, we slogged our way up through steep talus slopes, scrambled on loose and sharp rocks; and crossed snow patches. The elements (heat, snow, thunderstorm - rain, hail, lightning, and strong winds) slowed us down but were not able to stop us. Slowly but carefully, we climbed our way to the top.
Our reward: the unique experience, outstanding views and a great sense of accomplishment.
