Excellent advice! You are clearly in your element in Brazil. Your love for the place is clearly visible and is very infectious. In fact, if I succeed in finally getting there, you will have played a very important part. My advice to you: save your notes on the computer if they are not already there. And consider writing a travel guide in stages (whenever the mood hits). I think a lot of people will find your feedback very interesting. Anyway, thanks for sharing!

The "magic" is DEFINITELY real. I swear I saw a flying fish one day jump out the water while I was on the beach. It damn near seemed like it jumped out and winked at me (REAL TALK) And its damn sure true about burnout. Its damn near over stimulating the vibe is so great and beautiful . And dont go during carnival. Yo neck and eyes will LITERALLY be hurting. Trust me, you gone quit before they do. They party like NOTHING we have in the states.

I cannot thank you enough for the detailed information! The best on yt! I had the same experience in Thailand Pattaya and Malaysia,( I lived there for years) ,mostly had the room to some streets, and even in the 30th floor the noise crawling up, and you here motorcycles, bar music, every where construction, even they work in the nighttime....loud noise aircon, you got consant humming aso! Also fucking hard matrasses! I slept with earplugs for month...got sick, because to less sleep and the noise makes you sick!! This is one of my biggest fears, if I travel to brazil!

I'm planning to meet like minded guys on the ground and probably some hostels (will probably get a room but not stay there since it's only $10/night). Denis, I forgot to ask you a question I’ve been there yes a number of times. But do you use a VPN for your computer? Or cell phone? Or do you rent a roaming man device? I purchased one the other year it worked out kind of good and I still had my regular phone. But I don’t want to go through a Lotta switch them a ruse are making phone calls and that and I do use WhatsApp all the time. So do you use that or the other? Does it work out for you? Reynaldo
@djeanpierre
@djeanpierre 4 жыл бұрын
I don’t use a VPN. I use WhatsApp to make and receive calls to people that I know here and the few that I talk to regularly in the United States. I contact my cell carrier before I come and let them know I need an international data plan. I try not to complicate things when I come here.
