Part 2 of My Observatory build, the concrete base and the timber walls. Ive used 3x2 treated timber, 11mm OSB boards and Hardie Planks to cover The walls. Hi Tully, many thanks! Yeah the only rules of building like this is a height limit if within 2m of a boundary, the limit is 2.5m high, mine is 2.450m😀Going mono was inevitable, I just thought, get it now as it will only keep going up in price! Thanks and clear skies!

Nice, you will have 2,450m ;-)) I carefully thought about potentially going mono as well... but then I decided to buy a 2600MC (as you also have, as far as I remember).. before the 2600MC I was doing my AP with a planetary camera (385 MC). used the "ZWO summer sale". :)

@@SimonsAstro The track is for a sliding gate, I think it has a metal core structure to it covered in a very hard plastic stuff so it's quite solid and so far works extremely well.
