I actually think she is older. The broom and pan on the corner in her room indicates she is responsible for cleaning things. It could be that she is responsible for her pets, and thus clean after them. But it is just a bit unlikely in my mind. Also, the potted plants just don't seem like something children of that age would be interested in. But it could also be a general theme of her home. Also, there are quite some books that look like to belong in a series, and the stickers and decorations on the shelves do not look too young. And the cushions on the chair also don't look like a girl's thing.

And the fact that she doesn't have much equipment for making professional KZbin videos and that she uses a free music editing software suggests that she is an amateur or beginner KZbinr. I think the girl is probably 9 or 10 years old who is fond of animals such as cats (wolves and her whitish pet cat) rodents (her hamster/gerbil etc) and horses. She is a very creative, playful and responsible person (looking at the neatness of her workspace and her ownership of pets). Also if you look closely you can see two picture frames on the shelf with the elephant on it. That can give us a hint of how the girl/her family members look like and the girls age

The Devil Personal opinion, highly improbable due to the height of the chair its too tall for a 10 yr old plus the things on her shelves are too high for her and she also has a laptop, based on previous parental experiences no parent would give a 10 year old too much responsibility such as 2 pets and a laptop. My deduction as soon as the picture popped up. Paused the video. It's girl. Room is pretty clean, there are stuffed toys around, a weird drawn picture and two wolves kissing. Also, her lap BG. She's teen. Right handed because the mouse is kept on the right side with no space on the left. She's into computer, and sits there often judging by her chair, but not hardcore. Maybe playing games now and then, but mostly on internet probably since she lacks equipments and has a weird back ground for someone too much into games. The lack of headphones tell she isn't too much into music. Also, she's a clean freak. She also likes plants and gardening judging by two plants, and one right beside her PC. Barely anyone would want one that close to them unless they like plants. She likes decorating, specially using hand made things judging by two drawn pictures and various stickers. She's also into animals and have a pet judging by the pet food at right, most likely a dog if the shape and size of the bowl, and the wolves picture are to be trusted. she also seems to be into romance, liking "cute" things. She seems to be pretty neat girl, likes clean places and judging by her decoration and PC back ground, she gets along well with people. She cares about her family since she has her parents (most likely) picture there, and is overall pretty "girly", like most in their early to mid teens. She's also not too much into make ups and is definately not that proudy or over concerned about her looks judging by the lack of mirror. Also get dad is bald. She's also using an extension only to plug a single plug. When she could've used the socket where she plugged her extension at, which doesn't seem to be far away since we don't see a wire leaving the desk area. That's all

One thing an expert reductionist does is to verify their deductions. None of these deductions are verified. They are just guesses. For example, the age of the person (which I agree is female) is probably younger than you state. Probably 10 to 13 years old. But your guess is as good as mind since I also cannot verify it. Sherlock Holmes always verified his deductions. I believe your videos would be better if you the photos you deduce can be verified by the person you are deducing.

she also likes to read manga. on the top of the shelf, you can see a series of paperback books with a similar edge and title, and that is a common trend for chapters in a manga series. (Also, there seems to be a common trend wiith girls especially that like manga in that they like wolves and to draw, which i find rather odd but interesting)

I had a deduction about her country that I would love you ( @observe ) to hear (and correct me if I'm wrong): - I believe her native language isn't English, deducing from the drawing of the "English muffin" which otherwise would be too random for a wall drawing that shows interests and hobbies. Of course, it's harder for native speakers to find that out, but to someone who is not native and is constantly learning it would be more clear. - I would say the English muffin is representing her language learning method which is watching "the Adventure Time" cartoon series (the muffin art style is the exact copy of its characters). - So if she is from Europe it would not be England or any other that speak English natively and it's not France (Judging by having to make up tools which are the most common there at her age), my safest bet would be Scandinavian and not Germany based on the materials used to build her house.) Things you might have missed that could be important; she clearly likes plants and caring for them, hence the 2 plants that she is currently growing in-doors. She is also very possibly in her 18s, and I like to believe this because of the folders on the top of her shelf and those science books that are more to the left. I think they're science books because usually this type of book is plain in colours. Usually white and have 1 or 2 companion colours. She is possibly studying some sort of science to then go to college. I also believe the the probs of her beeing a gaming youtuber are slim because of the lack of headphones and screen recording software and a mic. Ok ah i was wonder if i could state some counter argument. I don't think that she is out going first of all, her room is too organized, too clean , most out going peoples tends not to have their room that organized. Second, she has pets(plural), this is just a speculating but if she is outgoing then she wouldn't have 2 pets, 1 pets should have been enouge for an animal lover, but 2 is too much. the plants as you can see, she has 2 of them. one beside the desk and the other only shows a bit on the corner of the picture. the plant beside her desk needs a bit of care. (i had a similar one and they need special care or they would die quickly) but as you can see the plant is in a pretty good shape. meaning she takes good care it. and now the plant number 2 on the right upper corner. now you can't really see the entire plant, but if you look at the part that you are able to see the plant is green indicating that she takes care of this one also. and their are flowers near the laptop, maybe those are plastic not sure. but overall you can conclude that she is a calm person (because mostly people who take care of plants or things like that are calm people) now the picture of the wolves it's also a clue that indicates her being not too extroverted. so i agree with pretty much everything that you said except for the personality type. but i might be wrong i only started training for a week now. but i would like to see if i was right about the personality. i imagine you contacted the person that this picture belongs too.

I believe this to be a female for many obvious reasons. Most likely the age of 13 at the time of this photo. She's right hand dominant. Live somewhere in Europe, not sure the exact country. She likes to draw, enjoys reading (though hasn't had much time for it lately. The bookmark is still toward the beginning of the book. Most likely has been preoccupied with her other hobby of gaming). She is just a bit tall for her age, as well [the plant on the top shelf needs water every 3-5 days. As mature as it is, it requires more water. She doesn't take it down to water it, as it is never rotated from position (the branch is grown only one direction, and the leaves facing the window)]. She has a cat (rather overweight), a guinea pig, and also a dog that doesn't stay in her room. Her favorite animal is undoubtedly a horse (3 accounts). Incorrect. That plug socket isn't a British one. Nor are the plugs the ones used in Britain. The fact for the game being in English could link her to it however it's more likely she lives in part of Europe that has clear access to the internet and can speak English. My best guess would be France. Also due to the plants inside and the amount of light by the sun it's unlikely to be Britain as Britain doesn't have that much sun to have plants indoors that are that healthy and green.

My deduction: GENDER: Pink, flowers, neat and tidy room for such a frequently visited area (Dog bowls, windowed door and plants leading to natural source of sunlight, all suggest this isnt a bedroom but a study) AGE: 15 And under. Childish drawing on the wardrobe, happy meal toy hanging in the cupbord knob, Feminine child like desktop background. DOMINANT HAND: Right hand side (Mouse, Dust pan and brush slightly tilted to the right) COUNTRY: America. Power outlet like that is not found in the UK, so america is my closest prediction. HOBBIES: Art, alot of creativity involved while decorating and arranging this room, although it isnt frequently practiced. my deductions: Female Arty person. U can see this by looking at the drawings. Age probably 13 - 19's, but probably 16. She reads quite a lot of books, her skill of drawing looks advanced for a younger person.She has a pet, in her room. I believe you and I are defining "Chinchillas" differently. A Chinchilla as I know it averages 2-3 pounds, that's the same average weight as a guinea pig. Additionally, unlike Guinea pigs, Chinchillas are creatures who need plenty of space to climb which would imply that they would in fact need a larger cage than what was in the video - that is where my doubt about it being a chinchilla comes in, because the cage appears to be too small. A hamster cage would be no where near enough room for an adult Chinchilla.

Before you said a word about what you deduce- English female, white, dark hair, around 15 to 18. Right handed. Another thing to note regarding the gender- they are very tidy and seems to be freshened using airborne pleasant smelling chemicals, and the game the person likes isn't one most guys would play. Also to support the location, the glass design on the door looks foreign. Also good observations, Max! Those are also all good implications to the person being female and from another country other than the US. The reasons that I remain humble with my deductions is due to the fact that it is rarely a complete certainty that something you deduce is ALWAYS going to be true. For instance, this could have been a guy. Statistically, it is unlikely that there is a guy who prefers these colors, that game, and that level of organization, but there is always that possibility! Also, if I were making concise explanations of deducting things, I wouldn't teach people to look for things like -dominant hand -language -culture -etc.. Because it prohibits imagination and cannot be a logical deduction in the end. By this I mean that starting off by finding the sex of a person cannot be useful to solving the problem unless you already know there is only one person... Many other incoherences like these slow down the learning process. I understand that your objective: It is to find -age -sex -dominant hand -culture -language -etc... But this information is of no use in a broader, more complicated problem. The "right handed" & "female" are just hypotheses until they have more solid proof to support them. This is the core of the problem! The viewers think those factors are set in stone, when they aren't...

For complete honesty, the entire video is full of trivial information in the big picture. Knowing anything about a person isn't useful unless you need to know that information. Therefore, the point of the video is to train people to observe intentionally. Also, NUMEROUS deductions always require at least some imagination and a gamble of probabilities. If you watch the rest of the channel videos, I constantly press the concept that many deductions are not set in stone, because there is ALWAYS the chance of the unexplained.

Deduction is therefore, an art based in probabilities and not a scientific law. The truth is, there is always another explanation that could happen. Attempting to apply pure/scientific deduction to human beings will never work due to the fact that human beings themselves are not purely logical. Chaos can be anticipated, but never divined to 100% accuracy. If I were to make a video of completely pure logical deduction without any shots in the dark, it would sound something like this, "This human being has a desk area with a computer. There is this on the computer. There is that on the floor. There is this on the paper. Therefore, we can deduce that I have received a picture containing those things"

In all actuality the room COULD be a male's room, but probability says it's not. The person COULD hate horses, but the chances are is that they don't. The person COULD be utilizing a European power strip in America through a converter, but the likelihood doesn't support that. Sherlockian deduction is not realistic. If you give ANY situation, there is always alternative answers to that deduction. Simply due to the fact that logic is never 100% applicable to the illogical.
