The original flutter(facebook game) caused a little detour on my special interest into butterflies. I am glad the company is still going and it was really cathartic to watch Gab enjoy so much something that I enjoyed a lot.

Yup (I'm Brazilian too)! Just don't think they're as friendly; they can bite if you go near them (they're wild animals after all). There's been cases of people here being bitten because they thought they could just walk up to one and pet them.

This is adorable! I play Flutter on mobile and ngl, sometimes I keep it open nearby just for the sounds :) also, there's a whole Flutterpedia full of butterflies and even after playing it for half a year sometimes I'd get a butterfly and go "no way something this pretty exists in real life!". So far, there have been zero made-up butterflies :) They also have Flutter Starlight, which apparently is only about moths - presumably, real ones too.

In case you were curious, Poison Dart frogs are actually not poisonous if not fed a specific diet. Also they are super tiny, like smaller than red eyed tree frogs we kept in the same enclosure We had some in my class when I went to a vocational school.

The developer also has a mobile game called Flutter: Starlight. It has been out for a few years and I used to play it a few years back. It is also a chill buttefly collecting game set at nighttime. Don't know if they added or changed anything since I last played it but it still looks the same. Really relaxing and free but of course much simpler than this full game

Yes it's absolutely possible that you've seen passionflowers since they are planted in gardens in Europe for flowers and passionfruit:) Also bromeliads are sold in garden centers and even supermarkets as houseplants, just as pretty as in the game. I'm amazed once more by Gab's talent in finding and interpreting wonderful indie games. Enjoyed it a lot!!

I miss butterflies. Growing up we would get swarms of butterflies and lady bugs every summer and spring. So much color. And then every year there would be a little less, and a little less. When I moved away from the area at 12, I had only seen one single ladybug that entire summer. I later found out all the fields several miles out switched to heavy duty pesticides. From thousands of butterflies and lady bugs every year, to just one. It still kills me to think about it, over a decade later. Anyone out there blessed enough to have access to some earth, please prioritize wildlife over beauty. Having your plants nibbled on is a small price to pay for giving nature just a tiny little chance to thrive

I love maxing out their levels and the google searching what the moths actually look like irl - you'd be sur[rised with how beautiful moths can be!
