To be completely honest with one of my favorite video game companies, before the updates Mass Effect Andromeda did not display the cinematic versions fully from the trailers but the villain story is my opinion the most original brilliant idea I've seen since the reapers and commander Shepard. After the updates happened everything glitches and all were fixed up what keeps me playing Mass Effect Andromeda is my love for the story, the characters you meet through out the game are as memorable as the first Mass Effect Trilogy characters. Bioware as a loyal fan and player I say to you all never stop making steps with a game take it slow and focused as you always do. As for Anthem I can't wait to purchase it and hopefully see the newest Dragon Age in the given future. 💖

Someone on Facebook said the patch with the changes in the CC won't be released for another 2 months or so. They could release other patches before that, I'm sure there's still glitches in it, but it's the CC patch we are all looking forward to. Hope they've made a few more hair styles, more tattooes and such stuff.

The Archon was more interesting then Saren but it was Sovereign really. We just currently don't know of the Archons bosses he works under. Like I want to know more about the political side of the Kett. In mass every high functioning society has politics, military, or religion and the Kett in Andromeda had all 3 but only showed representation of them without detail.

+blanket cocoon I can't even begin fathom your inept and apathetic perspective. Some people are who you say; pathetic individuals who devote themselves to the current hate train. A small percentage. Most are people like me; who play/played the game and can see where it falls down. And it falls down in many places. They are working to fix it, but people expected a near-finished, if not finished game for their money. I've sunk nearly 170 hours into the Multiplayer and I have nearly finished the Single Player, excepting some Additional Tasks because... fetch quests. You can't tell me I don't know what I'm saying. There are balance issues. There are gameplay and functionality issues. The game is not finished. I still play the game, and despite the issues, I enjoy it. However it doesn't excuse any of these problems.

blanket cocoon I know about the threats and they are despicable. Those people are despicable. And you are despicable for trying to include me among those people. I am just a fan. A fan who wants the franchise to succeed. The only way for that to happen is if the people who give a damn about the real issues (gameplay, game functionality and game balance) continue to be critical. Characters and story are a different factor in the "real issues", but this is harder to alter once the game is released. I don't have any problems with how the characters are. I think the story (so far) is a little lackluster, but this is hopefully only a starting point. The game doesn't deserve the hate it's getting from people, but their "points" are not unfounded. I am someone who is critical, not hateful.

I really like Robert Kazinsky but it's a shame they made the entire Kett race look like idiots. Their original concept art was fantastic but they they decided to make them more human and give them human faces. I don't know who is responsible for that but they should lose their job.

I remember when they explained why the original trilogy's species were mostly humanoid, with biggest variations on the shape of their backs (Turians/Krogans) or having fake inverted knee joints (Quarians). They said it was because rigging other body types would require the development of new tools, which they didn't have the budget for, and these areas could be heavily modified without getting in the way of their movements. When i saw the reboot took place in Andromeda (and the budget implied in the massive advertising campaign), i assumed they made that decision to mess around with new species. Anyone could imagine my disappointment when i understood that there were only two new species, both humanoid with 2 arms, 2 legs, 2 eyes, a mouth and even a pair of god damn nostrils placed exactly like humans', with different skin colors and gimmicks such as "they make small electric currents in their skin" or "they are covered in bone-like plates" (like the Krogans) as only defining physical characteristics. Females even have 2 breasts and a higher pitched voice along with smoother faces. SPOILERS EVEN THE KETT, which reproduce asexually still have gendered pronouns and higher pitched voice for "females". And come on, the Angaran were literally engineered by a higher power, you could get away with SO MUCH MORE than that with intelligent design without even being tied to darwinian evolution like the other species. This was the PERFECT BACKGROUND to make something truly original and they blew it on "purple hairless humans who make electricity".

Archon is the weakest villain Bioware ever made since DAI villain, from the first time we see him, till he dies, he is so forgettable, there is nothing interesting about him, nothing like Saren in ME1. Saren is bad ass, he is interesting, through him, we can see how scary Raper are, and the moment when he killed himself, really add depth to the character, he is not just a simple villain, more like tragic hero.

Even though there are people here who claim Ryder's squadmates are forgettable compared to Shepard's squadmates, there are ironically dozens of fan art of not just Shepard's squad, but also Ryder's squadmates too like Vetra and Jaal.

Unfortunately there aren't many memorable characters in MEA, if any. That's not the voice actors' fault (well, as a rule anyway), but the fact that the entire game feels like it has been rushed. It's a beta at best.
