Janey Mack what a great collection of Smurfs she has. She must be a huge fan of Smurfs! Fair play to her! I remember watching Smurfs when I was a kid and it was shown on the BBC as a part of their children's block CBBC in the 90s and early 2000s. This 80s cartoon was produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions Inc. I'd say the Hanna-Barbera era is probably the best. I know it's based on a French-language Belgian comic strip known as Les Schtroumpfs series by a cartoonist Peyo.

I just LOVE the Smurfs:)! As a child, I had MANY SMURFS, but not as many as this nice Lady in the video. However, my many Smurfs and Mushroom house were lost:(. I still have 1 plush Smurf from my youth. However, a friend of mine bought me a Child's Smurf Book with Smurf figurines ( Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Greedy Smurf, Clumsy Smurf, Grouchy Smurf, Baby Smurf, Hefty Smurf, Jokey Smurf, just a regular Smurf, Gargamel, and his Cat Azrael along with a play mat:). I would like to frame the play mat as a Poster. Also, although the more modern Smurfs are not as cute as the 1980s Peyo Smurfs, they are still awfully Smurfy to me:)!

One of my friends IRL loves the Smurfs, too. I remember getting her a few Smurf related gifts, one was a small Papa Smurf plushie, and the other were gummy Smurf candies that Haribo makes. I'm just too doting for her because she loved the Smurfs growing up :)

I use to collect them myself. me and my grandmother who is now passed away. I think her collection is cool. Think she is cool. Its sad to me that so called celebs given the chance to voice smurfette n any smurfs in movies, and not a major fan like her. so sad. Life not fair but thats how it goes. pretty standard.

nothing wrong with collecting things if it gives you pleasure. i just think people go to extremes with it. i mean a few hundred things in a collection would be nice, but when these people go into the thousands and have so much stuff you cant move in your house, thats taking it to the extreme. i collect dolls, but this many would be too much. i think one room in your house should be enough for a collection, if it goes past one room, its gone too far.
