Some days I'm absolutely an OCD cleaner!! Again surrounding my son.. some days will not do a thing and others il scrub and scrub and tidy like it's going out.of fashion.. think media have a lot of responsibility to take for OCD.. particularly in parents.. people end up scared that if they don't do this or that there'll be problems..

I always find it funny how everyone on these shows associates bleach with clean (which of course it is), for me however, every time I smell bleach it makes me think of public toilets - which NEVER seem clean to me (except with all that bleach they probably are). I only use bleach when someone has a tummy bug or for other very rare cleaning things. I use other products instead and I use mostly scent-free products so that all the different smells don't clash, but instead you can smell the fresh air or fresh bread or whatever in my house.

I rarely use bleach. But it is good at killing most odors where as ammonia will make a urine odor stronger, bleach does the opposite.

I can't handle Pine O Pine because in my schools toilets the cleaning crews always just dumped the stuff in and stunk up the whole school! But I do need my toilets pristine. Unscented or lightly scented products are sanitizing without stinking.

Ok the lady that used bleach so much that she wore a hole in her sink is absurd. How can you clean your house so much that you ruin it? I would love to clean everyday too but the more you clean surfaces the faster they wear down so it’s kind of a balancing act.

@@thatgrumpychick4928 yeah from what the camera was showing, we didn’t see every single part of their houses. Also, not all dirt is visible. You walk outside and step on all sorts when you aren’t paying attention, like insects, spit/phlegm etc and then walk in to your house 😖 i just think wearing shoes in your home is a massive no. However people can do whatever they like in their own homes. You can’t be afraid of germs completely, as some of these people are claiming if you can wLk germs on to the floors in your houses. (Not you specifically of course)

@@olive3700 I rinse my dishes I actually only use the bowl to soak and wash over and have the tap running the whole time and rinse them as I go. I also have a brilliant new toilet brush that's rubber and can be disinfected or bleached.
