Hi Martin, got me a 250ml bottle from The Polishing Shop for £10.95 after watching this. Used it today for the first time and wow!!! I had high expectations after your video but this is one of the best products I've ever used. So easy on and off, but the gloss and slickness are off the chart!! I can't believe I've never heard of this before. Thanks for introducing me to my new favourite product. If anyone hasn't tried this, I strongly suggest you do.

@ObsessiveCarDetailer2 жыл бұрын
Hi Mark, depends on how you measure success really. I think as far as slickness is concerned, Power lock is every bit as slick & for me that is important as it encourages sheeting & that in turn encourages the dirt to sheet off. I cant comment on longevity but for me thats not as important if you keep the car clean. Longevity is only important if you seldom clean the car or if you buy a product that falsely states a time period. As for application, I think Power Lock is a better experience. So not often you hear me say it but if I was to choose then I would probably go for Power Lock but that is only my personal preference. any help??

@ObsessiveCarDetailer2 жыл бұрын
Hello Dennis, I would do it the other way round mate. Apply the menzerna with the wax on top. The sealant is likely to last a little longer than a wax. The sealant should bond with the paint to give a better performance. If you apply it on top of a wax then it will only last as long as the wax. So for me I would apply the menzerna and ideally leave it for 4 to 6 hours before topping it with a wax. Hope that is of some help
@High-Performance-IQ2 жыл бұрын
@@ObsessiveCarDetailer ok, thank you. I always thought that a glaze/detailer etc would enhance the lifespan of a wax since it acts as a sacrificial layer? Plus the Soft99 Super Splash isn't a classic carnauba wax, it's a hybrid containing synthetic and carnauba components giving it considerably longer endurance/lifespan... Probably I should use Meguiars Ultimate Polish and after that the Soft99 and finish? Probably I should
@ObsessiveCarDetailer2 жыл бұрын
@@High-Performance-IQ I totally agree with you Dennis about adding a sacrificial layer, I do that all the time.
