Thank you. Just found and subscribed. You are going into more detail than the others I've seen so far. Love Obsidian!

This looks like it will be a game changer, when in research/study mode, as it's often annoying when you have to keep switching between Obsidian and the browser when taking notes. Just subscribed, especially after hearing you're based in Sheffield... as I'll be moving there next year. 🙂

It's definitely a versatile new feature - I thought when I saw it that it could be used for so many things I hope you enjoy Sheffield! I'm in my last year of university there but I'm staying on in the city after graduating because of how much I like it there.

@@fundamentalised I can certainly see a few other use cases for it too. I hope you get the result you're looking for. Nice, I hope you'll be happy there. 🙂

Why use clippings if you have Readwise?
@fundamentalised14 күн бұрын
Clippings is generally when I think the whole of a piece of writing is worth capturing and storing for reference. When I use Readwise it's because the piece deserves processing, and then only a small proportion of the content makes it through to the vault as highlights. They're very similar and I'll be the first to admit that I'm still a very heavy Readwise user after this new feature has been added!

Obsidian Web Clipper (with more properties and data view) is also good instead of browsing in obsidian.

I agree - right now, I’d like to see the property scraping feature of the web clipper incorporated into the clipper in the web viewer plugin too
