What a masterpiece of an album. Why isn't this release more well-known? Act III is one of the greatest black metal songs ever conceived.

Ironically I found it searching for a brutal death metal song many years ago: I was looking for Internal Suffering's "Enter The Gate Of Death", but only typed a few of the words in. KZbin gave me "When Death Unchains The Spectre", which was so good I frantically tried to listen to the rest of the album, and now it's one of my favourite ever black metal releases. Really, really good. All their EPs are excellent, too. Not keen on the Nile-esque attempt to rebrand themselves, but the old stuff still exists so it's not all bad.

The intro is so appropriate I feel like the beginning of very powerful uninterested natural forces that will take their course unpersonal but consistent, a chain of effect of galactic proportions with motion and motionless at the very same time, true cosmic horror in natural things. loved this album new music for me.

Holy SHIT I can't believe there's someone here who actually heard the compilation edit version of Invoke. Im DEATHLY curious how that edit sounded. Any chance you can upload or describe how it's edited compared to the full 13 min version? This band is my everything. Thanks!
