Ah YES.. those crazy 'Unpopped Kernels' of dark glassy goodness. Now if you could only train those lovable pups to sniff out the areas for you... just think of the time saved searching. Now that I know that Obsidian is UV reactive, I've been thinking of trying some night searches with my light. Of course I wont have the cool sound effects as you have with that snazzy Obsidian (and tiny little flower) counter.. But I cant have everything. So let me end this post with the mighty words of Yoda.. "Impressed I am with your Video"!

LOL! I love that dark glassy goodness too, AND the idea of rock-sniffing hounds! I didn't know Obsidian is UV Reactive, that can be a whole other video for sure! "Good idea that is Mr. Sauce!" 🙏💚💖✨🪨💎

Thats cool! Finding apache tears right in your back yard! And it happens to be obsidian week!?! Yay! Win-Win id say! Thats awesome ER! Its good to see you back on YT. I hope you are doing ok!?! I read your fb post. Im so sorry. The video was great though! ❤

Thank you Lisa! Napoleon's sutures came out Friday and he has been doing really well adjusting, which I was happily surprised and tremendously thankful for. It will be a bit more time until his hair grows out enough for him to be in a video, but he was relaxing in the sun right by me while filming this ☺️ When I saw Patrick mention Obsidian Week I knew it would be perfect timing for the processing the soil project, although I had to just do the surface collecting for this video. Looking forward to processing the old soil and top layer of yard soil by using a dry washer. Hopefully the obsidian will be heavy enough to be caught by it, but if not I can just pan it or sieve it! Screens are what we use & if you want to travel cross country, make one like i have with 3 pieces of 8' double wall pvc & a hanging screen.

This was so much fun and I would have never guessed about the perlite in soil, very cool! Can’t wait to see what you do with them! You would have been a lot of fun to grow up with, nothing is too weird for me! Love and embrace the weird (different)! Sheep following the sheep in front of it has never been my bag haha 😛 💜✨

Those are perfect size would look good with my cranberry colored garnets I have. They’re about the same size and would contrast nicely. So far, I have a small tub with about 5 pounds of garnets. I’m thinking of making an acrylic slab with some and cut it and see what I get. 🤷🏻‍♂️ PS classifier is the gadget name you were hunting. 😝

That sounds awesome!!! I'm hoping to collect more after running all the soil from the containers, and I really think there will be more! Maybe I can send you some to include in that cool acrylic garnet concoction 😍🙏💖💕

Hiya ER, I'm sorry I've missed recent videos and messages. I've been having radiotherapy, and it only finished on the 1st of November. I have to have an MRI scan and then see the two consultants to find out if I've gained more time. The last I heard was I've only got until Sep next year. Any time I've gained, though, is good. The chemo gave me 3 months of extra life. Please stay safe, Steve xxx

Everybody rocks a little more when there is a new EBR video! I never head of that before, the process or the unpopped nodules. You could collect enough to tumble, drill, and string into a bracelet or necklace. Very cool natural material right in your back yard and a mini adventure for those happy dogs. 😊
