Pet dps is really op when you actually combine it with might or prec. But if it’s only pets, you won’t get maximum damage.

My sorc dps is kind of a hybrid. she basically uses a spam attack to fill up Lerneas amulet and then pops the finisher, using GWS and MAP when available. So i could for sure make Zs first passive work on her and should her arts outgrow the usefulness of it, Then the second passive is a great one too. Either way. I'm excited for tomorrow to hopefully get her right away so long as we aren't getting another Static situation where we had to wait a lot longer. But yeah. personally i'm looking forward to this episode. regardless of critiques. I love the spookier stuff and i don't get butt hurt over reused content in a COMIC BOOK game unlike some people do. Like all the ones who go "Oh, another Gotham? laaaame" I genuinely have to wonder what they really want, cause we had Washington, Thanogar etc. The devs can't just have EVERY episode be a new location. We'd run out fast. But...i do wish we could get an episode set in a restored Smallville. That would be cool one day. But I digress. Went on a tangent. lol great video as always.

I would get it if it was only might, i prefer to stay with shazam knowing that i will get more might when i use the ally then to let it random from zatanna, maybe i change bwl to her, maybe not, bwl still better because his effect stays for more time.

Tricky aspect with Aquaman is you have to take damage, which at least in raids will be hard. In alerts without a tank or lower content would be fine

In a lot of content you literally take dmg every 12sec or less. I want to test this but I'm eager to check the difference in DPS. Also I think bats who laughs + Zatanna as a alley set up seems viable

They should've just made it include powers that actual pet powers use. It's stupid this way, & if you try to align the cooldowns you're losing MORE damage b/c you're not using any ability to make the pets hit hard.

They might have intended it to replace the pet power moves. Now we don't have to power pets just go throw a regular dps rotation and get the buff.

Is there a reason why for Zatanna’s second passive “out of a hat” it doesn’t include earth’s unstoppable which is a power interaction move? I have it at max level and it doesn’t activate.

@@ajadams3297 well Shazam is 90 sec cooldown for 6% might . In 90 sec you have 3 times your buff will happen with zatana. For dps, 2/4 are good. Percentage wise it’s 50% so you have a 50% of getting something good. Each time which is 3 times. So same percentage with Batman who laughs. So potentially with bwl and zatana you can do better than using Shazam. I also find parsers are better with crit buff increases . Shazam only has might

It does not, just retested. Cuff em, which sets up daze inside of stealth does proc the passive but Stealth itself, while setting up the daze pi does not proc

@Obsidianchill, I ranked Zatanna to level 10 and her passives don’t seem to work on the support side at all. The Out of a Hat passive never proc’d 1ce on my Earth Battle Tank while using unstoppable. Does she not work on the support side?

As long as you are using a PI power like Unstoppable or Earthern Grip etc it should proc every 30 seconds

@@ObsidianChill I tested repeatedly, check for yourself. Unless it’s a glitch it appears Zatanna only responds to DPS role. As an Atomic Tank I was using Unleash Anti-Matter and it never proc’d once after 12 damage hits via super power. I switched to Zatanna’s Arcane Battery passive with a Robot sidekick on my Tank and after 6 damage hits it never proc’d the sidekick once. I put Zatanna on my healer and battle healer and both passives never proc’d. I assumed she only works on the DPS side

I tried it on on my sorcery healer. It works. I did run 3 moves to try to proc it. And it did proc. Obviously the less you hit your PI move the less likely you are to set it up.

Yeah ima try the bwl and zatana combo just for free dmg. I find myself not using scs as much because not as many eog healers now, and then for Shazam I feel like sometimes we wait to use ally sometimes . I’ma try the free rng.

@@n0n3xy no1 uses aqua man anymore as a passive ally for dps. At least when it comes to like all the top dps people. That setup is cool but it’s purely focused around your ally. You also have to be getting a supercharge fast. In 90 sec you prob only cast 1 sc which is a small decrease in time from re casting your ally. And realistically your not guna cast your ally right away prob a few seconds after cooldown ends

@@PlusUltraBrandobeofre you run anything you need to spend time to build sc, and then make sure you swapping scrap, that’s da best you can do, if you’re rage have black Adam. I forgot whiskey builds Super too. And since it’s a shortage of eog heals especially good ones. You can’t just spam sc when you get it you gotta know when and when not to pop it.

Combo'd abilities like Jackhammer/Atomic/Light etc only count as 1 ability. The passive only counts damaging abilities used from your power tray

I was trying the buff passive with solar amp and I was not getting the procs like if I use heat vision without solar amp I get the buffs but when I put solar amp on...there are no procs of the passive even though it's appling a pi through an ability

Its a bug, I have forwarded it along. I never tested it with Solar Amp as I don't use it as much now with Ebon :(

I can double check but Harvest is not a PI ability, it just spreads and refreshes existing poisons.

Retested. Harvest does proc Out of the Hat. Could have been something the devs realized that Nature would only use Harvest to refresh and would be awkward with having to use another poison ability

They call themselves buffing celestial with Zatanna garbage ally. Ain’t even powerset exclusive. So it seems they won’t be making anymore powerset exclusive because they don’t get enough money by making it exclusive to 1-2 powersets. Because they had more than 1 opportunity to make 2 in this episode, smh.

@@HiHi-yk1mv The effects are bottom tier though in it's overall output. As obsidian said it's extremely situational. You can only use your pet's power move only after buff. Limiting the overall effect. So basically you could be doing the same dmg with or without her pet buffs... This passive is impressive sounding but could be a major waste of a passive
