I was hoping you would test it out on a celestial toon using benediction or malediction combo thus having two sources of weapon attacks giving heals

@@nothinghereligma3363 I could try but for benediction it procs every 2s but the art dmg is only every 6 seconds so you only get the extra heals to proc 2 times every 12s which doesn't seem worth it compared to a normal celes rotation. Malediction id have to see but thought that was only the dmg from Malediction itself not total damage dealt

Thank you for your videos. They're pretty inciteful. I've watched a few just to be able to gain an understanding as to what certain things do or what they're based off of. I like the Clarion. I just got it's Restorative Melody upgraded a few days ago and It's been fun being a Paladin (Ice Tank w/ Healing) and it came in clutch a few times. I have this Mod piece that when i use Wintry Tempest I heal myself, and i use it in my ice elemental form. So now adding the Clarion Healing with the Weapon Buff has kept me alive in between rotating my 3 other shields i use during Ice Elemental. (I only use 2 in base.) I can't wait to level my Mystic Symbol next.

I have it more for the defense aspect; shielding and healing a few people including myself, and the shield is really decent so most of my points are into resto and dom. But if youre a battle tank i cant give any useful feedback as im still relatively new to tanking

I'm a fire tank. The big 3 for our arts seemed to be: Manacles, Mystic Symbol and Everyman. I swapped out Mystic Symbol for Clarion. My allies are Superman and Lex (passive) with Cyborg (active) and I'm doing self heals immeasurably better. On 2 occasions, I've run GoPe with healers that had CRs less than 380 and my self heals were better than their group heals.

@@daniellandry5542 fang is a dead art and honestly with the trans and start youd do better . You'll have healing crit increase with a hot on crits as well as a damage crit increase and a DOT on crits. That combo is stronger than the fangs effect. Plus the power back is kinda pointless.

If you’re a battle healer, Demon Fang isn’t a dead art. If you’re a full healer, yes it’s a dead art. I apologize for being long winded in advance: Besides Celestial, all other powers have to be precision based Battle Healers. Bare in mind, you’re not going to do insane crazy damage as a Battle Healer without making the group suffer greatly from lack of reasonable output on healing. If you run Strategist Card as a Battle healer, because you’re in healer stance, you’ll send out a heal over time not a damage over time, which if you’re trying to do viable damage as a Battle healer, doesn’t work to your benefit in that regard because you don’t get the 30% increase on critical hits. The strategist card has a max 4% increase to prec, might, resto and dim BUT it doesn’t go to your base player stats, it’s active only once you activate Gemini via Superpower. Thus, the increase buff is temporary as long as a Supercharge is going off on your behalf or you’re standing in a green eye of Gemini. Most 2500 SC’s now have a 60 sec cool down unless you have a Scrap of the soul cloak which also increases might but not precision. The demon gang, as a Battle Healer is an art that needs to be at 200 ASAP. The Fang increases base Restoration and Precision. Every 12 secs you do extra damage based on Restoration and Precision for a certain percentage based on wherever your Fang is ranked. The power return isn’t that much of a difference maker as a Battle Healer. However, at 200, Demon Fang, once you’re behind a shield, no matter if you casted the shield yourself or not, you increase your restoration by 10% and precision by 6% for a duration of time. This is very beneficial as a battle healer because if you put one or two shields in your load out, if there’s a second healer popping a shield or the Tank, even the Superman shield, you’ll get the buff constantly to resto and precision and that makes it work it! Stack the Fang with a 200 Clarion and you bump your resto and precision more plus, Clarion sends out a shield as well. The eye of Gemini can be an option for Battle healing if you prefer to send out some greens and don’t mind the damage decrease. However, Clarion was designed to battle heal and not at the expense of nerfing your healer gear for dps gear. As long as you have Clarion, if you battle heal, and you try to work in Dps gear, you’ll lower your resto and increase your precision. If you run all healer gear your increase your resto and lower your precision. However, Clarion gives you more damage on resto over precision meaning, if you run Clarion, drink a Flex Soder to increase precision without lowering resto

It will not, to have that increase priority heal you have to be actively using that artifact while using the heal, where the Clarion and even the spectral pet apart of Orb using your base priority heal

Not everyman, drop EOG for it, you will not regret it, I'm fire tank and have Clarion at 200 and drop manacle for it. Best decision ever tho as im healing myself and other with weapon attacks and provide extra shield as well.

Is there an issue on Live with Clarion's Guard in Tank Role. I've tried on both Doomsday and HOL Dummies. The shield animation never shows and I don't see it in my combat log.

If you have it below 120, you don't get shields. If it's 120+ then it should be working fine - As long as your weapon buff is active when player is above 95% health AND being healed by the artifact - Mine is at 160 and I get the shields quite often. 80 - Heals only. 120 - Heals+Shields. 160 - Heals+Shields+Damage. 200 - All potency values greatly increase.

I know most Tanks are taking it for the heals and shields mainly but the damage part is what I’m trying to discover? I mean you tend to catch a lot of stuns and knock backs as a Tank even with an immunity in your load out, wouldn’t this greatly decrease your damage output if you’re trying to do per se Dual with Flurry shot and they keep lunging or knocking you out if completion?

@@alnunez757 No. More prec just gives you a little more damage from the damage procs at Rank 160 (more damage from more resto also). The heals are based on calculations of % of the game's base priority heal + player resto. So if you want better heals, you spec more resto. Just a note, the heals and damage are pretty average at 160, and personally I found the shields more useful so far. The art is more of a fun alternative to run. It does seem like it needs to be 200 to be completely effective.

@@alnunez757 Roreaga is right! I think you’re asking in terms of if you want to go with a Batllr Healer build. The art itself is based on resto and your base priority heal along with some of your prec but mostly your resto and base priority heal! If you’re going to keep the art under 160 as pretty much support for a healer then don’t concern yourself with the prec side because it only kicks in at 160^. Now if you’re going battle healer with Clarion you’re likely going to have to throw the Dispenser & Horus in there or strat and trans and you’re definitely going to want Dispenser or strat at 200 along with Clarion at 200 like yesterday to see the real damage. You’ll definitely need SP’s for Battle heal as you’ll need to max your resto, heal crits, and precision and have enough left over to get your Weapon Mastery, at the very least you’ll need your precision with half of you can’t max it and if you really want to turn up, run all prec augs or all prec origin mods but it will lower your resto for the trade off

I feel like this is artifact is counter intuitive for all healer powersets except for nature and maybe water. You are incentivized to use weapon attacks but for most powersets that rely on actively pressing other buttons that would create a bit of conflict I'd imagine, though feel free to correct me if your experience shows otherwise. However with nature, in most cases you can apply your pheromones and just refresh them while supporting them with the artifact attacks, which works out just fine in most cases. You will still need to be more active in elite raids, but even then you have considerable more downtime to attack thanks to the HoTs minimum duration compared to other powersets

You are correct. I am a nature healer with hand blast and buff then blast and get a lot of use out of this artifact. It is basically useless if you can't maximize your downtime between heals to buff and strike quick

Chill, I'm considering this for my fire tank. I'm not the best at countering any way, could I keep using 1h flurry to proc the healing? My arbiter crits 100k easily no where near maxed. I use dominance and can offen troll bosses, briefly tank, and restore the tank fully in 1 or 2 priority heals. My rapid ticker does 20k consecutively and circle of protection does a steady 5k per tick but can buff to 10k and crits 10-16k. The more I grind the higher it gets, got my gear up to 352 and there's still a few hundred missions to do.

Alot of Clarion's effectiveness as a tank will come down to your weapon playstyle, all the high hit count combos brawl/hbs/ma/dp are all lungable so the boss or adds will just farm blues off you if you don't play it correctly and if you are too timid on the weapon combos and go for taps you won't get the full heal potential. I would say I would rather use Clarion than Circe's Mask though. The stun on the shield break is meh you have gale for that and consumables and the increased healing in doesn't help much if you are shielded.

Hmmm, that healing from artifact for tanks are some kind of bug? If i understand it right, that healing come from Restorative Melody, but desecription is clear "X% of priority heal", and since tanks arent healers they cant have, and they dont have priority heal, so from where comes that healing? I would be carefull with charging this artifact for tank toons atm. Like for me this shouldnt be applied for tanks, and wont be suprised if it will be fixed, so only healers with real prority heal could use it.

a healers priority heal is based off a calculation in game involving the healing formula. So even as a gadgets player you could use this art and get heals but since its based on your resto it will be much lower where healers and tanks spec resto (some tanks) so imagine if a tank used a priority heal that number would be based off their stats. Sounds confusing but the term priority heal is used just as a calculation starting point

But here's the thing u missed tho. So when the art dropped. I got it maxed out. Then the next following day I logged in n i had a gift to claim n it was the art again n it said from the devs the it was an upgraded version of the clarion. So I'm like wtf. So I honestly don't know what they upgraded on it. But the damage for the weapons on my max clarion it's insane . U can see a big chunk of health go down when u attack enemies .

No, I wouldn’t expect that to stay, and you can pair that with Totem that does a decent amount of healing to Brick, na if they let that happen they’d surely have to nerf it because many Ice Tanks would jump Earth

it can be useful below 200, the shield will be much weaker and the heals will be much lower but still has practical uses

I would, shatter is super weak shield its more just for the immunity breakout. It wouldn't be required in majority of content

Bruh! Why do the fire tank test while using fires heal over time? You're making it more difficult to see the heals solely from the Clarion artifact

would be the same concept as all the testing I showed as the healer, my resto wasn't that far off from when I spec'd fire tank and I had already done each individual test with clarion showing heals up to that point. Doesn't change just being fire

@@jeremiahwilliams2824 it could be, not sure it would be OP but you would have enough crits to keep strat procs active but at the same time so does a nature healer using strat without clarion and wouldn't say nature is OP for elite
