[Obsolete]【DBFZ v1.13】 Team Goku Combo Video

Lately I only got time on weekend for a bit of DBFZ, so things got rather slow... I don't celebrate X'mas, but Merry X'mas and happy holiday to everyone~ A couple great videos for Goku/SSGoku Sparking combos reference, covering a huge variety of scenarios (by @playergodaines): kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJ-3kJ6mg9GFmZY kzbin.info/www/bejne/b37amK2teJV7fLc ----------------------------------------- *Rough Description* #0 (00:02) - Goku/SSGoku/GokuBlue Triple elbow loop before using double jump is specific to tall characters (e.g. Broly, A16, …). If solo Goku, you can squeeze in another j.L before the double jump, but that would cause the link into assists and DragonRush very difficult. After the DragonRush, you can use a 214L before KaiOuKen, as is shown in a few later combos. #1 (00:48) - Goku/SSGoku/GokuBlue An ordinary mid-stage to corner BnB combo with Goku, making use of the long hit stun from his knee thrust for an IAD string. Actually using 2M xx 5M after the knee will do about 100 more damage, but that looks kind of dull, so… #2 (01:09) - GokuBlue/SSGoku/Goku By connecting 2M at the very end of its active frames, there would be enough frame advantage afterwards for an auto combo link. The double Lv.1 link would be more ideal with a Lv.1 super which pushes the dummy upward into the beam as compared to Kai-Ou-Ken. #3 (01:30) - SSGoku special entrance #4 (01:42) - SSGoku A slight variation of SSGoku’s solo 100%. For tigerkneeing those beams, make sure you don’t input 2369 immediately after 5H connects. Instead, delay 2369 a little but input it quick. This is because 5H has a lot of active frames (on top of the input buffer frames during hit stop), so you can only jump cancel it a little bit later compared to other quicker normals like 5M or 5L. Doing 2369 too fast could easily result in a diagonally upward beam on the ground. #5 (02:08) - SSGoku/GokuBlue/Goku Some beam juggles with SSGoku. The Lv.1 juggle is easier on bigger bodies. #6 (02:27) - GokuBlue/SSGoku/Goku A simple GokuBlue combo started with 214M. Because 214M costs the smash property and also puts a high proration on damage, there really isn’t much to do afterwards. #7 (02:43) - SSGoku/GokuBlue/Goku Another SSGoku beam juggle. Juggling with the diagonally upward beam still seems ambiguous to me, but it works more easily on bigger characters. A slight variation of this can be found in my SSGoku character combo video, if you are interested. #8 (03:00) - GokuBlue/SSGoku/Goku A team 100% combo started with 5H near the middle of the stage with GokuBlue. With better assist characters (e.g. KidBuu + SSVegeta for four Lv.1 supers) you can get 100% damage starting with zero meter. #9 (03:33) - Goku/SSGoku/GokuBlue Goku mid-screen 2SSS loop using the Vanish whiff trick. It’s probably one of his more damaging combos away from the corner, even though I’m just doing it for fun. I guess everyone knows how to do the corner 2SSS loop. #10 (03:51) - Goku A variation of the Giant Spirit Bomb combo (check out Vol.8 of my Assorted Combo Demo if you need a guide on this). The small Spirit Bomb causes so much hit stun that you can link a SuperDash afterwards and do the same ending sequence into the Giant one. Do note that 2M needs to hit somewhat meat to allow the small Spirit Bomb to connect. Also, if Goku is too close to the corner when 2M connects, after SuperDash he might appear between the dummy and the corner and this will cause a failure. So this works much easier on characters with wider hurtboxes. #11 (04:14) - Goku Goku solo 100% using Kai-Ou-Ken x20. Delay 5H after 2M to keep the dummy as low to the ground as possible. Also you can delay air dash j.M to keep the dummy low. Make sure the dummy isn't too high when EX elbow before the empty Vanish connects (or the later 5M could whiff). Back air dash after the empty Vanish allows Goku to land quickly after j.M, making the following 5M link possible. #12 (04:41) - GokuBlue GokuBlue solo 100% combo. A couple key points: (1) Delay jump after 5LLL to let the dummy be bounced higher up in the air; (2) Time your jump cancel after 5LLL such that j.M connects slightly before GokuBlue reaches his apex (j.M would further push the dummy upward just a little) and j.S connects after the apex. Doing it right you’d sense that when doing air dash j.L, the dummy would be slightly higher than GokuBlue after j.L xx j.S, making it possible to link 5L upon landing.

Connor Hamilton I don’t play matches, but if I do I’d use Goku and because he fits better with Beerus/Ginyu. He has a very complete tool set without being op. Not sure about Gokublue’s strength post patch but I don’t think he fits my style. I’m the neither aggressive nor passive type.

One thing I just can't do is super dash on the correct side when I do the Spirit Bomb combo at 3:50.

Start with the dummy standing at about half a screen away from the corner. After 236H, make sure 2M connects at its very tip to maximize your separation from the corner. It most likely doesn't work on smaller characters due to the sizes of their hurtboxes, but relatively easy on fatter ones like Majin Buu and Broly.
