There's a difference between the gift of speaking in tongues and tongues. The gift is an amalgamation of different known languages while tongues is an unintelligible sounds or words that cannot be deciphered by the mind. When you get filled with the HolySpirit He can either give you The gift or tongues. Everyone who has The HolySpirit has the ability of tongues .
