Obzova on Island Krk Croatia: Wild Camping in Motorhome and Hiking with Border Collie Dog

Only 170 km far from home a totally different world exists. Here we managed to spend a wonderful day filled with joy. We hiked the trail from Punat, past Veli vrh and all the way to Obzova, island Krk's 569 meter high highest peak. We enjoyed the views of the Kvarner Gulf on our way. We walked a little over 16 km and overcame 700 altitude meters. This seaside mountaineering is fun and the seafood is excellent, too.
We were parked at a public parksite (N45.019203, E14.627535) , which is free of charge off season; also, there was no problem staying over night there.
