OC Transpo Stage 2 LRT Detours: 5 Day Closure of Pinecrest Rd, EB West Transitway Detour (June 2021)

Between June 25, 2021 at 8pm to June 30, 2021 at 2am (original end time was 12pm), Pinecrest Road crossing over Highway 417 was closed to allow the construction activities for the Confederation Line West Extension Project (as part of Stage 2 LRT) to occur.
The 5 Day closure allowed crew to slide a new (pre-built) underpass to Pinecrest Road that would connect the future Pinecrest LRT Station and the future Queensview LRT Station to the east. Please see OC Transpo's timelapse video of the 5 day project:

This particular detour is applicable to all routes that would normally have traveled along the Transitway between Bayshore Station and Pinecrest Station via the West Transitway (Routes 61, 62, 63, 64, 66, and all other Connexion Routes from Kanata/Stittsville). Buses were required to detour via Highway 417 between Bayshore and Queensway Station. Consequently, the following stops were missed:
- Pinecrest Station eastbound
- The stop at Highway 417 @ Greenbank on-ramp (applicable to Routes 61, 62, 63, and 64 only)
Tidbit: The detour routing seen in this video was actually the regular eastbound routing of what was then Route 96 (presently Route 61) when the route was first introduced in September 2004 prior to the West Transitway opening in September 2009.
