I shoot 10/22 in Steel Challenge matches and have found that the clear mags seem to have problems dropping free but the Black ones seem to do fine. May want to try this if you still have problems with mags sticking. Another option I just started to use is the Tandemcross Doublecross Magazine Body. They have run great for two matches so far.

Have a look at the AMG timers, simple to use as well and same size as the CDC

Hey Jonathan, I agree with Ben B., I would order you a Teslong bore scope, I have the Bluetooth one thank links up to my phone and it works brilliantly for what I need it for. One of my gunsmiths shoots benchrest .22 and he told me a long time ago the only things you need to be concerned with on a .22 is carbon ring/ damage to the chamber and the crown. He doesn’t even clean his barrels (rifling) bc he says there is no point. Not saying that’s it, but there could be some minor differences dimensionally between the Midas and the Center-X and that’s why you are seeing that difference in accuracy. Best of luck with it, I know how frustrating that can be. Thanks for the great content.

I clean my Vudoo down to steel every 500 rounds and verify there is no carbon ring with a bore scope. My MV’s remain the same at that temp per Lot. Midas + run 20fps faster through my Lilja 22” barrel. Every Lot of Midas + I’ve had have always been just a bit faster than Center X. Have had both great Lots of Midas+, Center X and Polar Biathlon.. I’ve found cleaning down to steel my gun runs consistent after fouling back in. Fouling only takes about 10 shots. I haven’t seen POI shift after fouling. Best of luck!

drill some holes in your tank trap legs and insert some eye bolts. Then you can tie bowline loops using the rope you have.... ties very easily to the eyes. A bazillion bowline knot vids on youtube if you don't know how and the bowline is very easy to untie when done.

The eye bolts are what I was planning to do.

You really need to invest in a bore scope - a Teslong is not that expensive, especially in comparison to an expensive rifle/scope combo, and works really well. When I had a Bergara I thought it was clean until I bore scoped it and the carbon ring was shocking. I clean my Vudoo chamber to bare metal every time I get home and check it with the borescope.

Carbon ring !!!! Use a borescope. Vudoo has a video on how to get rid of it. Same thing happened to me. Got rid of the carbon ring and was bad to tight groups. You can get one for as little as $50 off of Amazon that plugs into your computer. I got the one that has its own dedicated monitor cost about $125. Use it on any rifle you can get a carbon ring on centerfire also. Get one you won’t be sorry.

Thanks for the feedback. I did put chapters so it’s easy to get to what you want to see. If you want strictly the stage info, there are other channels where they focus specifically on that. My VLOGs are meant to document my range sessions. I get the style isn’t for many. I definitely recommend you head over to the other channels for NRL22 stage info.
