There is a qol ROM hack out there that adds a lot of the convenience features of the 3ds version to the N64 version by the way. Faster text speed, ocarina and both boots mapped to the dpad so no need to pause to use them, blocks push faster etc. Combine that with a hi res texture pack and you've got the ultimate way to play the game imo. Just putting that out there

I think adult Link is 5'2". He's pretty short. Most NPCs tend to either be taller than him or hunched over. I think making him shorter gives you slightly more viewable area onscreen as you play so it's probably for UI reasons. That could all easily be wrong though.

QOTD: This is a deep cut in bro lore but there is a story that I have only heard once on Beard Bros. and I can totally understand why but it's Alex's late night Taco Bell story about him witnessing two female employees doing the nasty and interrupting them by flashing his high beams.
