Great interview Occ. sobriety is beautiful thing. I think as we all get older whether you’re a pro or one of the better guys at your home break, it’s important to know when to bow out gracefully and make room for the younger guys. We don’t stop we just help and give the best advice we can to the next generation. Keep up the good work!!

Kai, if you read the comments I want to let you know that I sent this video to my 17 year old daughter who just got out of rehab in Honolulu. Great words of wisdom from you. I hope they don't fall on deaf ears. This video came out at just the right time for her and many others that struggle with drug and alcohol abuse.

I always admired Kai's strengths, and friendship with Andy Iron's. Inspiring to see him face what he defined as weaknesses in such a direct and humble way. I have also stayed away from alcohol and etc. since age 19. Committed to Meditation, Fitness, Healthy Diet and Supplements - and Surfing. I agree with Kai, it is the golden path.
