Interesting thing I spotted, the windows automatically roll down slightly when the door is opened (front and back), and then roll back up when its closed. This should ensure a great seal at the top to eliminate wind noise.

To clarify, that 10% is going from the 19" sport down to this tire. Likely the cover accounts for ~3-5%, but nothing is accurate until real world tests come out.

And to all those out there who do not know why add the ugly looking tires increases the range: Air residence reduced the car's movement. And air resistance is created as air enters into the holes of the tires, they create turbulent winds under the car too. A diffusor also would increase the car's range.

mechrocktech so does the advertised 220 miles assume the 19 inch sport wheels (which is how the car is usually presented)? Or is that how much you'd get with the added 10% of the aero wheels? This is an important question cause that might make me rethink getting the larger battery if I can get 250 miles from the smaller pack with the aero covers.

Tesla is not saying that the caps give 10% more range. They are saying that the aero wheels with the caps give 10% more range. You'd expect more range than with the 19 inch wheels anyway and it's not clear how it breaks down between the wheels and the caps.

I saw your knees very upright and the thighs have a steep angle at the backseats...that‘s means your are sitting too much on the tush bones...that is very uncomfortable for long distance driving.

My heart sank a little the first time you slammed that Model 3 door shut and the window wiggled, then the second time I figured it's probably just poorly put together door/car if the S's interior is any indication of the sturdiness of the 3's exterior.

The manual door opening has nothing to do with an empty battery?! The control unit to open the lock does not need any relevant amount of power. The Model S has several low-battery-state modes which still give you enough power to move a 2t car and I can't think of reasons why the BMS of the Model 3 would work any different. If you manage to get the battery "that" empty and end up being locked up in the car then something is totally wrong but not the car. The manual openings are probably demanded in so many countries (to unlock the door in case of emergency blabla), that it comes with any stock config I would guess.

That's just a rumor, but I personally met a Model 3 owner who was also an Tesla employee, and he said that it's 10% at average speeds but as much as 15% at top highway speeds.

The space under the boot/trunk floor has nothing to do with there being a gas tank or not. A gas tank isn't there in the first place in an ICE car. Some ICE cars also have space like that below the floor.

The key card is the valet key. The normal key is your phone (via bluetooth connection).
