I love the space these not so "sleek" yachts give you. Though I love the beach club, I think the space would be better used as toy storage and maybe a head with shower. Be hard to give up the beach club, though. I'm a great fan of sky lounges, especially if kids are on board. Hope the Captain is not disturbed by the party. Outstanding crew spaces. Thanks for bringing this to us. Hope your holidays were good and you have a great new year.
@YachtAddiction3 жыл бұрын
The Revolution series is definitely less sleek and more "voluminous". At this size you definitely have to compromise a bit between a beach club or a massive storage room. It's interesting to me seeing the difference between a brand new yacht like this where everything is clean and empty versus an in use brokerage superyacht listing where you can see how the toys and equipment are actually stored. Holidays have been great so far and I hope yours were too!

One of the better walk thrus - moves right along, doesnt have to open EVERY door of storage or appliance ! Have to wonder how an owner would minimize all the deco fluff on a working boat making long passages ? I could see one of those guest cabins converted to storage and more refer/freezer capacity. Is the boat designed for ease of maintenance/replacement of all electrical appliances ? How difficult to replace one of those generators in the engine room ?

Between this 30R, the 35R, & the 37L my favorite & the layout I prefer is the 35R. Thanks for touring all three. Even though I've seen the boats before everyone shows different aspects of the yachts & in their own way so I don't mind seeing them again.
@YachtAddiction3 жыл бұрын
I really liked the 35R too. I’ll have a tour of a 32L in a few weeks so stay tuned for that.

Ocean Alexander does make some very nice and very practical laid out boats. I love that approach. Very Cheoy Lee-esque or what Benetti used to be in the early 2000's. Excellent presentation despite the numerous hiccups, you found a way to keep it all flowing seamlessly and presentation was top notch. Great video and happy new year to you sir.

I agree. I think they've done a good job keeping their superyacht lineup modern and fresh. Thanks for the kind words! I've learned quickly that not every tour will go smoothly or in an orderly fashion. I just try to keep things rolling and make it work. Happy New Year!

This is the boat I would order if money were no object. Probably with some minor adjustments in terms of layout, since I know there are several options for that, but the overall design is fantastic and so is the finish. And that's a lovely crew area for a not-huge boat. I always approve of great crew spaces; you keep better crew that way.
@YachtAddiction3 жыл бұрын
I’m glad we found the perfect boat for you! I agree about the crew area. I can only imagine that a happy and well cared for crew leads to a better ownership experience.
@norarivkis25133 жыл бұрын
@@YachtAddiction Definitely! I don't have direct experience with yacht crew, but I do with hiring household help, and I've never had a service relationship that wasn't better for doing everything I could to make the people who work for me happy. You get the best staff that way, and you get their best effort because they care about you when they see that you care about them. I can't imagine it's any different with yacht crew, and from everything I hear out of people who actually work as yacht crew members, it isn't. The owners who treat their crew well earn loyalty, and part of treating them well is paying attention to their comfort when you're designing or buying. In general, this boat looks so much bigger than it is. It's not a small boat but it's not so huge that space is just no object either, and it _feels_ as if space is no object. It's got plenty of room for everything it needs, no room feels cramped, but they're not throwing in stupid stuff just to show off, either. (Except maybe I could do without quite so many refrigerators, and those are easy enough to turn into regular storage if you want to. 🤣)
@ronen1602 жыл бұрын
it's a beautiful boat!! I can tell that this was designed for charter: what "family boat" needs so many bars? they also jammed so much furniture into the salon - that the furniture negates the advantage of the huge windows. If there's no bar in the salon, what do the designers put there?

Another great video. Where are the tender and toys stored? Also the beach club is tiny.
@IamSpectre20203 жыл бұрын
Ocean Alexander makes one the finest yachts today but, who let the amateur designers loose, There are so many hard corners to crack a hip on it's crazy. A yacht of this class should have an enclosed pilothouse. They should have included a nice drop balcony in the master, nice to see fully self-sufficient crew quarters with galley and mess. Otherwise, I love the 5 staterooms and overall design.
@YachtAddiction3 жыл бұрын
I wonder if it would be possible to enclose the pilothouse with some pocket doors like they did in the Princess X95. It’s hard to find the perfect design that suits everyone but I think overall they did a good job with the design. Thanks for watching and have a great 2022!

Just to add BTW, with this video you have much better control of the camera and a much more pleasing video to watch. I know it's really hard to shoot and talk at the same time. It feels a better product totally. It feels in my mind that this is a nasty comment,but really as you do more you are becoming very good at them. I wish you the best of luck and good wishes for 2022. Thank you.

Your tours are getting better and better, great tour and great yacht, 👍 what yachts are on either side of that? Looks like a 90 ocean on the port side but don't recognise the 1 on the starboard side. Have a great new year. Best wishes to all from us over the water in the 🇬🇧
@YachtAddiction3 жыл бұрын
I believe that's an Azimut Grande model on the port side but I don't know what specific size. Hopefully I will be able to tour some Azimuts at a future date. On the starboard side you have the OA 35R which is the larger sized yacht in the Revolution series. I have a tour of the 35R posted on the channel. Thanks for watching and Happy New Year!

I honestly don’t really care for how they designed the Transom. 🙈🖖🏼🇺🇸
@andyvankerkhove69023 жыл бұрын
Take it easy dude, you are doing great but so fast...take your time... dont rush nice yacht, but I dont like these open helmstations in the skylounge... I dont want my Captain to hear everything we say between friends...most of the yachts have a seperation wall from Spain
@erickamekonapeper40073 жыл бұрын
Who designed this Hull?🤔 it sure doesn’t look like a Monk design.🧐 He is most of the reason for Ocean Alexander’s Seaworthiness. I don’t care for the big Broad Bow and I understand why it’s a “Beach Club” Aft but I don’t particularly care for the design for the Transom either. I think this is more of a Marina Princess 👸 for my liking if my Kids and Parents and Grandchildren are with me and I’m spending big I will require a very traditional stout finer Bow for sure but I could accommodate that Transom.😏🖖🏼🇺🇸

Not much for emergency exit for the Guest Staterooms.🧐
