Every time I watch your Videos, that by the way, I am addicted to, finding myself wanting to escape from a busy day, and get lost in the instruction and learning process your work provides. I am a self taught Artist, that loves to paint Seascapes, so much so that friends nicknamed me “ Sea” short for my name “Celia”. I am benefiting so much by your Application, and the way you segregate, the sections, Backgound, Middleground, Fourground. You are an Amazing teacher, and Your patience pays off every time, and teaches me to be more patient. Sometimes the excitement of finishing the piece causes me to miss a lot of what staying on course with the process, would have payed off with so much more! So Thank you so much, Ryan, I will continue to enjoy this painting journey with you, and others, for as long as it is provided. My paintings have improved immensely from them, and has brought me to a higher level of confidence, I can’t thank you enough! TAP! TAP! TAP!!!!!! ART4LIFE🎨🖌🖼

Ryan. I love your work and I love that you take the time to make these videos to help us. Confession - I'm one of those people who turned the sound down bc I couldn't handle the number of times you said 'with that said' so I was quite surprised when you mentioned it but tap tap tap .. also quite relieved you are diversifying :) I'm trying this picture - not exactly the same colours but I like to paint along with you for the company and very obviously the super instruction.

Hi, I have been trying acrylics for a while now. I used Monte Morte acrylic colors. I found that they dry very fast. I have been watching your paintings. They are great. And how come you paint on the pallete is not drying very soon? It would be very helpful if you reply..

Wanted to try this as the instructions were so clear and understandable. But couldn't get cadmium red light hue and cadmium yellow deep hue. Instead I only got cadmium red and cadmium yellow medium. I can see there is some difference in the colour. Can the shade be managed or should I get exactly the same colour as mentioned?

Looks great! The sunrays extend a bit to the right but that light is not reflected in the water. I think the light color should have been under the rays there, too, although not carried forward like the center. Also, I think the center lights in the water are too strong and should fade more toward the lower area. It's too strong. Tap, tap, tap.

Hi Ryan. Beautiful sky. Question: would it be easier to paint in the blue sky background first and then the clouds over top? Or would the blue underneath the yellows and peaches change the colour?
@RyanORourkeArtist5 жыл бұрын
Really great question! Yes, the blue would probably show through the yellows/oranges and create some noticeable greens. However, with lots and lots of layers you could build past it; the process would just take a bit longer. Hope that helps -Ryan

I painted with acrylics and the paint cracked, it was a new tub I used on the second layer, which I may of done a bit too thick but didnt expect it to crack, is it bad paint or is it cos i did it too thick, or was it because it was on paper that warped a bit or all three, help appreciated, ta
