Characteristic of a good teacher is the art of simplifying even the most complex concepts so that everyone can understand it and it doesn't anymore becomes a privilege of an 'intelligent person' but everyone can get the idea. U did just that....thanks a lot!

SUMMARY 5:30 start Surface water movement is current!! Not all. Three words- Drift (slowest) Current (medium) Stream (fastest) S>C>D 1. Factors for movement of water!! #High Temp to low temp water moves #Winds. #Rainfall- #More temp decreases density by expansion. #Highly saline water is heavier and sinks.. Downwelling happens. Hence.. Water moves from less saline water to more saline water. (Mediterranean more evaporation, become salty easily, so more saline and hence water moves from atlantic to Mediterranean water flow would happen) #coriolis force, (Runningless) Right and clockwise in North hemi and left and anticlockwise in South Away from equator- warm Away from poles-cold ATLANTIC North America Gulf Stream - n atlantic draft Norwegian Warm current, Cold- Labrador, Greenland, Canary West europe South America, Warm Brazil current Falkland current Cold benguela current cold Africa coast west side. PACIFIC west part of South America Peruvian (humboldt) cold current East Australia is Warm. Kurosiho and Alaska warm and California is cold. Oyashio is cold. (O-Cold) Kuroshia (Garam) INDIAN OCEAN West australia is Cold Agulhas is warm on east African side near Mozambique Somalia current in Western India Leeuwin is warm on West australia side.

@joyfulljunction 4 жыл бұрын
@@yashwantrao7800 yes.. i saw that now.. but i found the folloing statement on google... when i asked it ..... can the somali ocean current be a warm current . it replied.. Following Ekman transport and with the southwest monsoon blowing parallel to the Somali coastline, the upwelling direction is to the offshore during the summer: The warm and salty Somali Current flows northward across the equator to turn to the East near Cape Guardafui.

Well defined concepts. But your teaching style is too much lethargic. If you will not be active during taking any lecture, how we will be active listeners. A humble suggestion sir. Please do take rest and after regaining your energy please start the lecture.
