Hi there, what a beautiful piece, I guess because it is so small, it's beauty is in the tiny details. I do worry that one day you simply won't be able to remove the clear plastic and glue. Isopropyl alcohol helps to remove the hot glue and detach the acrylic from the resin

You could probably coat the plexiglass with wax or spray it with silicone mold release to make it easier to get apart at the end. Pam cooking spray might even work.

Do you have any recommendations for a person that's interested in wood turning? Like what equipment you would need for a beginner just starting off. I do seashells necklaces bracelets stuff like that but I'm very interested in making my own bowls pots little trinkets causes things like that with woodturning I've always been interested in it, but never really knew where to start. It's nice that you want to start. You need a jewelry scale, mixing cups, molds made of silicone or 1mm anti-frame Plexiglas. Sanding abrasive papers. I use car polishing paste for final polishing. Many things you need to see in the movies

I tried something similar but filled the whole inside with epoxy. After it hardened it cracked 😕 ! What did I do wrong? It was also bigger in diameter like a 8 inch circle. And it was giving off heat after it was poured? Anybody know what went wrong?

Normal resin is suitable for castings up to 100 grams. You have to buy resin for large castings

Awesome looking and would love to try to make it but, looks to need some major tools to make it. No explanation or caption for drying times in between steps, or anything like what kind of oil or sandpaper grits, etc. is needed, which is all very important to know. Also, there were tons of commercials for this little 10 minute video, which is ridiculous. So, your videos need some work. However, I would love to have one of those in a bigger size with maybe a small toy ship in it or something. Do you sell them and if so for how much?

Does the width of the Plexiglas you use matter, or just thin enough (1mm, 2mm) to be able to be cut quickly? And keep bringing more in for us to see... ^_^
