Thanks for making the video. It helps me with ideas for mine (same model). My teenage son is just starting to fish and explore the local waters on his own, so I need to upgrade it a bit for him. All I've been doing with it is running shark baits from the beach, so it's plain Jane right now. Thanks again!

What are the dimensions for the seat mount? I have the same kayak and this is the only video with a DIY seat mod.

Hey Kendall. Dimensions are 24” x 13.5”. I bought a Sports Unlimited stadium seat on Amazon then had my buddy weld a frame. There are 2 cross members that run under both sides of the lower seat rails for support. The seat is held in place with 170# rated zip ties both to the existing kayak padeyes and the seat frame.
