Thanks so much for the video... Im going with family and kids.. i heard it divided into kids and adult only section.. so if we stay in the kids side. Are me and my wife alliw to go to adults side for bar, and pool and club? Thanks

When I visited there were no restrictions to entering the adults only section. Beyond being an adult of course. There is a adults only section breakfast restaurant that you will likely not be able to enter.

Great review! Can you confirm if the beach pool is saltwater or chlorine? And are kids allowed? My son has a severe chlorine allergy and this will be crucial in our decision to book this resort. Thank you:)

I went in December 2022, so best to confirm with the hotel directly as that could be a serious issue if I told you one thing, but they made a change since. Everyone is allowed in the beach pool.

Is there an option to opt for privilege service but stay in Eden Master Suite? I don’t like the fact that Privilege building has no ocean views room available. Thanks!

I have seen people commenting about not staying in the Privilege building but still having access to the Privilege services. But in all my research while booking, I never came across the option to do this. So if possible, I don't know how you would book it.

What’s to do outside of resort?

I personally didn't leave the resort, but there are options to do the usual excursions. Snorkeling, parasailing, among other water activities. You can also walk along the beach in both directions to see other resorts. Driving to the resort, I didn't notice anything close enough to walk to, so if you want to go into a town, it will be a taxi or an excursion.

I swam in every pool and drank at all the pool bars. The only place I didn't try to access was the adults only breakfast and snack area. Presumed I couldn't use as it is for adults only section guests.

Do all the privilege rooms come with jacuzzi on the balcony??

Although I never used it, Privilege rooms do have a jacuzzi. Some other buildings did have Jacuzzis but I also noticed rooms with no Jacuzzi. There was a floating chair instead.

I saw people in the Privilege pool without a Privilege wristband. It was still the quietest pool since no entertainment happened at the Privilege pool.

I recent stayed there for the weekend. It’s great for families as we took our grandson and he loved it. I stayed at the Eden building. Casual dining was good. I only had one issue and that is the Steak House restaurant. I told the wait I want my Ribeye steak well done. It came raw. I send it came and it came back I little pink . I send it back a third time and they never came back with my order. Another person on another table send back his steak and they gave him some one else order. We just walk out and dine at the casual dining. They need chefs that can cook. Otherwise it’s a good resort for the money. 4 stars.

My steaks were also pink, but I ordered medium rare, so I didn't think anything of it.

You can expect an awesome time, that's for sure. Lots goes on at the Eden pool so no shortage of fun there. There is an activity board in front of the main buffet which I recommend checking out when you arrive to make sure you don't miss any fun activity. If one of the evening shows is the fire show, make sure you get a seat close up otherwise you can't see much. There is a rope barricade so you can't sit TOO close 😄

Cenotes are not swimmable but follow the monkeys, they'll take you to wear they hang out and see the babies. Not suppose to but sooooo many people get bananas from the buffet to feed monkeys at the cenotes.

I gotta say I am worried I have read so many contradictory reviews. I am travelling with my wife and two kids 13 and 15. Some say the beach is non existent. Others say the food is 10 out of 10 others say it is brutal with no flavour.

I can understand comments about the beach as it's fine but not anything special. Hopefully sargassum is at a minimum but the upper beach close to the beach pool is nice. Food is quite good. Lots of variety. Check out my food review video so you get a sense of what to expect. You'll have a great time. Property is excellent.

For breakfast and lunch, you absolutely can. For dinner, I saw men wear sandals and shorts without any issue. Personally, I would recommend something closed toe for dinner. Blue Moon restaurant, you'll likely need to wear pants, a collared shirt, and a closed toe shoe.
