You know what I learned from all these press is how passive? Cate's voice is. Like when interviewing alone, she's loud. When in a panel and it's time for her to speak, her voice fills the room. Maybe she was just having a jetlag. Hahahaha Idk Ive never seen her being interviewed amongst other people. Sandra was so cute to remind her to be careful of what she says though. Im like ah yes, the goofy Sandra is the older one afterall. Hahaha BY THE WAY, before 7:40, you can see her eyes looking at the cushion intensely. Interviewer is doing the thing where she directs all questions at the two white actresses and when commenting on anything Awkwafina says, fully roundabout hating:. "How do you ever get through a day when shes [daring to speak, god forbid an Asian girl is talking].. " Note how even the hating was formed as a comment TO the two white actresses. Props to Cate and Sandra for trying their hardest to freaking include Awkwafina. God, ET, get a more respectful and less racist interviewer. Not a single question about Asian American visibility in Hollywood? Shame on Nischelle Turner or her editing/writing team.
