Ocean Turns Black ! Millions of Mullet at Haulover Inlet after Ian (Fishman Joe/Mullet Run)

Mullet run after Hurricane Ian at Haulover Inlet ! Today ‪@Joethebaitguy‬ and I went out of Haulover Inlet and found millions of mullet bait fish.

at first glance, that bird looks like a Grey Heron but on closer inspection, it is a Great Egret... you can tell by the opposing double bend neck...

This was awesome. Wow Sir Alfred, back in 1980 i my step dad took me fishing, first stop, buy shrimp we find in restaurant’s in IL for bait, and later in his boat on the River thru Fort Myers and I caught a blow fish, fish got in boat in blew up like a ball. Kept catching all kinds of different fish as soon as I cast out. One cast went way up in the air and a Pelican swept down and grabbed it and I hooked the poor thing. Reeled it in and Pelican beat its wings till we got it down and the hook out of mouth and set him free. Alfred, my step dad said we have 4 hours to get back and get you to airport. Sure BRETT you don’t want to stay another week and said he pay for plane ticket. Alfred I wish I stayed. I wish I could go there and fish again. We fished all the canals in Cape Coral for fun before all the homes, and those blue crap were a blast. They clamp on line and hang on till bank. 😂. One raise up and was daring step dad and bit right thru his mesh shoes. Was so funny. We had this idea we catch all these and have a feed. All that messing around and boiled them and barely a pinch of meat. Heaven there. Sure wish I could fly, can’t due to oxygen and fish one last time. Sir Alfred did the Edison, Ford and Firestone homes survive the hurricane? I wonder if that huge rubber tree near Edison’s lab is still alive and well. It was huge back in 1980 if still alive I can only imagine how big it is now? Thank you for the memories. ❤️❤️

It's wonderful seeing thousands of fish jumping at the same time such as at 20:50 to 20:55. You definitely need some underwater cameras securely on a pole. I loved the tarpon feeding as well.

You guys are awesome helping other fishermen. They should still pull the prop just in case some of that net got down to the shaft, this will ensure that the prop seal doesn't get damaged. Joe's net throwing ability is awesome, he may have been practicing. It was hard to tell but the grey bird looked like a grey heron.
