i visited london for the first time and this was the only rap show playing on a weekday we could see. first grime concert i ever went to. holy crap this guy was fast, he's not exaggerating, he's probably one of the most technically skilled rappers with no gimmicks and did insane bars that put nearly all american rappers to shame. the actual spectacle of seeing somebody rap that fast was worth it alone, i'd see him again, he needs to play coachella people would lose their shit

i paused the vid when he was talking about writing the lyrics for the track with dizzy, i swear my first ever song i heard of ocean was because i saw a dizzy feat. so i clicked it, liked ocean from the get go, but when dizzy done what he do i thought ur done bruv. dizzy done ya on your own track. but little did i know! ocean come back with a sick flow well on pare with dizzy and at that moment im like "oh shit" hand on my mouth and everything. i had to look up the lyrics coz ocean is mad fast. but he stood shoulder to shoulder with dizzy! been looking up everything i can find on ocean since then. one of englands best! I've also seen how he used Asaviour and Micall Parknsun throughout the years. The guys a savant and a creative genius. One of the most influential to me in my 31 years in this realm and all that but as I hate to say it Jehst and Klashnekoff both have had bad attitudes that have left their piers feeling double crossed and held back. Ask Kyza how he feels/felt about Klash. My favourite artists but i seen the way Klash did Kyza and mocked the backpack scene whilst rapping some exaggerating the hood politics as that was the day of 50cent and the Gangsta was the only Model that sold. Jehst is a little arrogant and bitter these days. He's like if Mariah Carey went camping, trust. Smart dude and borderline savant regarding creativity but yup I tripple double down on my opinion.

In glad Ocean brought up his fast rapping.. I honestly think his fast rapping is kinda impressive but like the man himself said, a lot of people can't even understand what he's saying but are impressed with his flow. I kinda agree but IMHO his fast rapping is a negative and detracts from his performance. When Ocean raps at a regular pace then he's incredible. Yes his flow is impressive but I wanna understand the words and when I only catch 30% it makes impossible to rap along with the track, even if only in ya head n not aloud. Non the less, he's still great but if he always rapped at super sonic speed then I prob wouldn't listen much. I'm so happy to see him succeeding and even happier that some of the og's have showed him love and made tracks with him. I,e Method Man and Dizzie Rascal. That must have massively boosted his confidence.
