My favourite UK hip hop artist and one of my top five of all time. Look how far Wizzy has came since this, whether it’s stuff like Chaos 93 or bangers like Revvin, Blessed, Lowrider etc., he’s doing great! Just wish more people knew of him, but he’s still ‘Walkin’ his own path to this day!

@@joegoddard9661 I have to be honest, his latest album is the worst thing he’s done, I still like some of it, but it’s very average. I actually like Drilly Rucksack and Racists and 1 or 2 others off it, and the Stay Sane freestyle was great, but I miss his older styles.. some of the beats are just way too basic and Achey Bones is an example of how to ruin a competent song with an awful repetitive sample. I think if you’re wanting his prime stuff go for the first LP and even Wizville

@@Xldldoom0 yeah I can agree, and yeah partially agree with some bits like there is a handful of okay bars and whatnot but for an album overall there’s maybe a track worth of ‘fire’, whereas most of the other albums, 90% of the album was actually insaneee and maybe one song was off, but this seemed to switch if you know what I mean? Had to say it but feel like now his gotten a big fan base and minimum sales are higher than what his maximum used to be, his not putting as much effect to make that ‘wow factor’ to draw in listeners because he knows whatever he drops he’s got a good paycheck, and yeah I know bro don’t worry, or even ‘spitz wisdom’ is what he used to go by and a handful of fucking maddd freestyles but you can slowly see the decline in art and the rise in making it a basic catchy chorus, even saw him in a tiny nightclub in Leeds a good few years ago when chaos 93 was the latest album so seeing him come from that is upsetting😩😂

@@joegoddard9661 yeah man absolutely get what you’re saying and it’s a real shame cuz you’re right like 90% of his previous works, especially Chaos 93 they’re just filled with banger after banger, bar after bar with intelligent lyricism and solid beats and it was just so authentic and real you know? I hate the whole catchy chorus bullshit like he’s diving more into the mainstream like there’s a difference between going mainstream and not selling out and going mainstream and just churning out any old boring basic stale ass beats and lyrics and stuff, even his flows aren’t as interesting and unique they’re just not the same if you ask me, and I still listen to the guy on a near daily basis. I think the new album is too accessible and just doesn’t hit the spot, well unless you like poppier basic production,beats and less diverse lyrics and flow and substance in the music. Must’ve been a fun time seeing him back then. I mostly love his work up until the stay sane freestyle and his last collab there with Dizzee, though the album as a whole is underwhelming. He can do what he wants lol but as a fan, just feel like it’s a waste of potential and talent we have already seen. Plus, I hate Achey bones so much, that repetitive annoying sample might make it the worst song he’s done. If he hadn’t included it the song would be better. @@Xldldoom0 yeah exactly man it’s just watered down now to make sure the masses are okay with it instead of a niche loving it, get it from a business perspective but from someone who came up writing bars about people selling out when they see the money and stop doing it for the art it seems contradicting a bit if you know what I mean, and yeah fully agree like his ‘basic ‘ flows from before would beat any of this recent albums best flows, and yeah man was the sickest show ever honestly, and yeah exactly it seems like cause his reached the big dizzee rascal level he knows he doesn’t have to put everything into it, or anything in some circumstances 👀😂but yeah exactly man he can do him but from a fan perspective I’m not really on board anymore unless he starts making some more lyrical bangers but I’m not the slow paced beat singy typa guy, miss the old head noddin hip hop beats with constant on it flow
