Enjoyed the banter as well as the pearls of wisdom. Even though you've had hard times, you have come through it all and still smiling. All Colin was missing were flashing lights on his ears.

Great, Great, Great video! Testicular Fortitude is the phrase I think of when watching Trev and Colin working on trouble shooting that electrical issue. You guys rock! I’ll be in Panama for Christmas with my wife’s family and I’m sorry you all will not be there to meet!

Fun video…..excellent and very valid comments on boat repairs and motivation…..however, as I have seen on boats around me, boats that I have assisted….yachties can google and youtube all day and “learn”, but if one doesn’t know the difference between an open end and box end….well…..Fair winds folks, Thanks, Andrew

The statement in the last video saying having the engine problem off and on for a long time says a lose connection ! The rule of lose connection says check the ground wire first ! Thanks for sharing !

First thing I did signing on a new vessel was to read the manuals of equipment I was not familiar with. If I then failed there was no Internet but a radiocall to the manufacturer

Actually Colin has hit on a real truth there with the team comment. There is a reason there is nearly always two detectives on TV shows. Because they need to talk to each other (and Columbo talked to himself lol!) and it's only when you talk about a problem that the solution comes to light. How many times have you said something to someone, only for a new thought to come into your head, leading to the answer?

I'd love to send you some of our South Australia's finest reds and whites. My mother in law has quite a decent collection (she's in wine clubs, been buying for decades). I'll tell ya it's not always about price either, I know of many good reds for $15 a bottle and those are up there with wines 4 X the price. Me and the missus are about to crack a Bird in Hand sparkling red to have with our South Aussie lamb
@oceanadventures3652 жыл бұрын
Sounds amazing yeah we have good wines in South Africa that fit that bracket too. And we love our lamb in SA as well. Thx it was just a fun night and wasn't sure how it would go down..glad you enjoyed !

@@oceanadventures365 True, I think your country and mine are in the good latitudes for wine growing. Everyone bangs on about French wine, but I know ours are better, I think it's just the French have a longer history growing/making wine. Interesting you're 60 as well, I just turned 60 a couple of weeks ago, it's weird I still think and feel like I did decades ago. I haven't slipped into wearing cardigans and slippers like some old friends of mine have, I reckon it's all about state of mind and just keep doing stuff that you always have, like this night you had here with Colin hahaha

Agree, you have to be a jack of all trades or have frign deep pockets. But deep pockets won't help out at sea. How the hell do you have that crap(dress-up) on the boat? So funny.

Colin is correct. 2 brains working together is as good as 3 brains. Idea bouncing is critical.
