Message for James Wisner: Next time that you do a mix for this band, here's a mixing trick to help meld the bottom end together. Try adding just a little compression to the drums, and also try just turning on a phase effect on the drums, Not to much though, you only want just enough to sparkle up the cymbals. when you do that it will attach the beat and meld it perfectly into the bass guitar, making a perfect bottom end. your mix on this was damn near perfect. I absolutely loved your studio work. but try what I'm suggesting to you and I'm sure that you'll be well pleased. Let me know what you thought after you try it. I bet that you get a big smile on your face after hearing it. that tiny bit of subtle FX lays and melds the bottom end foundation together perfectly. but it's so subtle that it can't even be detected, It's like adding an ingredient to your food that doesn't sound like it should be in there, but without it ,it doesn't quite taste the same. hahaha..I've done on a lot of mixing and again, you're very damn good at it. I just hope you try this. again I bet you'll be loving those results. Peace..
