Thanks a lot Ma'am... understood all the points well except one... you said we cannot use "To" while explaining fuction of any thing ( the chopping board example) but many a times we hear such sentences like "oh, that's a knife, we use it to chop our vegetables" or "it's a pretty stick so I use it to tie my hairbun".
