Hi, do you know what day (or month) you saw this manta? I study oceanic manta rays in the Red Sea and I have seen this manta before! His name is Simon and he was last spotted at Daedalus Reef in July of 2022 :)

hi just went to my archives, and the shots where done on the 11th of August 2021 (last year) at Shaab Maksour North reef in the Fury Shoals ... 30/40 minute of pure heaven with this manta ... trip with Atlantis boat. How old is the manta ? is it always near this reef ? Feel free to ask anything about :)

This year I saw two mantas (June 2022) but just crossing owr dive a bit far away so no image to produce), think it was also in the Fury Shoals, but not sure ... I wait answers from friends for the exact date, and even pictures (some where closer) of it if you need it
