Oceans of Slumber want to transport you into their emotional world

Cammie Beverly of Houston, Texas' Oceans of Slumber, joins Jon Garcia for a KNOTFEST Pulse of the Maggots interview.
The vocalist talks about the band leaning in to a Southern Gothic sound on their latest record Starlight and Ash, and how it's both a bit of a departure for the band, but also something they've been working towards for years. She also opens up about how her relationship with the songs evolved over time, while looking forward to being able to experience them live with an audience. Of course, with a band as sonically diverse as Oceans of Slumber, there was genre talk as well.
