Every time I hear this I tear up! I feel like I’m not worthy with all the things I do that I know disrespects him, but tho I try to be a good man, husband and father I know it’s not good enough but yet he’s still there, I always feel his presence! Amen, I’m there. I fail daily and the hardest part is to bring myself back to the foot of the cross, needing to accept something so wonderful and good that I don’t at all deserve. Honestly being a mother forces me to the cross more because I need to be filled daily with His wisdom and compassion. “But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; We all fade as a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, Have taken us away.” (‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭64‬:‭6‬)

I totally love your reaction! i see that you truly are a good person just by the kind words, the respect, the love you seem to have by the beautiful song. I want you to know that being a chistian is not about going to church or having the status of a person of Jesus (like some people do) its simply having a relationship with Jesus, like a friend and trust me, he wants to be your friend. It took me a lot of time to realise that i didnt have to change my life and stop liking everything i like to have a relationship with God, he helped me when i lost my friend like he helped me when i lost my gandma, and i truly hope he can help you, losing someone is really hard and he is here for us when we need him! i couldnt ask for you to do anything because i would become just like those fake chistians that just want ypou to go their church so they can get money from that, im just giving you a suggestion. He loves you (not in a creepy way, lol) he wants to be your friend, pray for him, and youll be filled with a love that no human can descibe! Beautiful and honest reaction. I'd also like to let u know. Our good deeds are not why we get to heaven because d scripture says that none is good but God. And because he is good, he gave us someone who could pay d d fine for all our wrongs and that is Jesus. Because God is a loving God and a loving God is a God of justice. The devio knew this and led man to fall so we could bear d same punishments as him but he failed d moment Jesus died on that Cross. The debt was paid. Just like how someone pays ur bail in a court house before a judge. God is love but he is justice too. It is our of appreciation and out of trust that we christians try to do good deeds, we don't do good deeds to work our way into heaven. We do it because we r thankful and because we trust and believe that d good we do can overcome evil around us. We follow God's commandments because we see it as a mode of protection. God is not affected by wether u steal or lie or murder, but he is concerned that we will be affected by d consequences of committing those sins. Its why he made rules, brought Jesus to us, sent d holy spirit down to us after Jesus left to be pur advocate and our communicator with God. God did everything he could for mankind and he hasn't stopped since. Its why when God gives murderes and bad people chances, i look at myself and realixe that he is giving me d same chance he gave them to repent and to accept him. Because to him, Sin is d same. A liar and murderer are d same, none is greater than d other. This is because God understands d gravity of sin be it a lie or a murder... Its like a butterfly effect. A small lie can lead to d destruction of other things. We can't see d butterfly effect but he can. Its why i trust him and have put my faith in him... Faith is d science we use to test God. So my dear sister, try and build a relationship with Jesus and ask yourself why God does what he does.... Don't believe in christianity believe in Jesus... Christianity is less a religion but more of a relationship with God. Many christians are religious but don't have a relationship with God. Do not say because you've met bad christians I wouldn't go there. The church is a hospital for sinners not a museum for saints. Christians are also struggling with sin and we know it more than anyone. But people think we're perfectionist. We're just trying to better ourselves and lead others to that route. When I go to church, I go to church to find God's presence not a righteous christian. Most people who go to church expecting righteous christians get disappointed as a result they loose faith in God who Is still working on them to be better people. Let's come together and seek God. Hell is fundamentally the absence of God. God asks us to come to Him, to repent and follow Jesus so that we can be in relationship with Him. If people don’t want that, God respects that choice. He won’t drag anyone to Heaven. Hell was originally only for demons as consequence for reveling against God.
