So, I'm 17 years old, about to be a senior in highschool... I turned away from God and I've been struggling with depression, anxiety, and a toxic ex. I didn't want to continue anymore and I felt like no one cared about me. I was about to give up today and this song popped up on my recommended and I turned it on and I just felt the holy spirit enter my bedroom and my soul feels at peace. I'm coming back to Jesus. I am so sorry for your loss bud. I lost my grandfather 1.5 years ago. That was hardest for me because he was the closest I ever had. Just know God saw you, even if nobody else noticed, you are making it through the storms. Its rough but sadly people passing is a time we experience in this life. Please don't resort to suicide. My best friend lost her father to cancer when we were 9 yrs old. We’re in our 50s now. I still remember him, think about him, miss him, I remember what a wonderful father he was, I think about things her and her father got to do that I thought were so awesome. I think about the time she was gone because her father was dying and I replay the conversations we had at that time. Just want you to know, you are not alone, you will dream about your father, and your father is with you wherever you go, and you will see him again. My friend always studied hard and worked hard, and did not get sidetracked with this world. Time seems slow when we are growing up but as an adult it flies by. I pray you will become an example of how a person can overcome some of life’s toughest blows, just as my friend has always been someone I looked up to for how she handled those tough times and never let the sadness define her future. Be an over comer! God Bless You! You May never know who God will put in your life that you will be able to help because of what you’ve gone through so young. Be strong and courageous!

I was also battling drug addiction and when I truly repented and turned from sin and into the arms of my Savior Jesus Christ he showed me what to do and now it’s going on a year where I haven’t took any pills 💊. When we let go of sin we have to fill ourselves with something so I started reading the Bible and not just reading just meditating on it and every time I had a craving to pop a pill i would open the Bible and get my spiritual milk i so desperately sought out. The devil tells you “it’s too late” “he doesn’t hear you now” “you will never be good enough”. I started to take everything thought captive and rebuke any thoughts that weren’t from God and I am able to control my mind and not the other way around. Before Christ the doctor told me I was Bi-polar Schizophrenic and had personality disorder when I truly believed in Jesus and repented and I mean True Repentance all of the Strongholds I was in were gone. I was even Gay and in love with women and over time I knew the Devil was a liar I wasn’t born that way I wasn’t born to love the same sex, or to have demons making me hear voices and see things that are not there. Everything down to all the wrong things that have happened is a ploy from the devil to get us distracted from our REAL calling. Please know that homosexuality, bipolar, depression, laziness it’s all a form of strongholds set up by the devil and it’s a lie. I am living proof that one isn’t born Gay, or with mental illnesses.

I want to say that just because you're going through something difficult doesn't mean God doesn't love you or he's punishing you. Job is a wonderful book in the Bible that is an example of this. It shows that God sometimes puts us through difficulties as a way to test us. Some of you also said that you feel as if God left you. Deuteronomy 31:8 says, '' The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; Do not be discouraged. '' It's a beautiful verse and a promise to us. Sometimes it's easy to feel as if God has forsaken us when we go through a difficult times in our lives- whether that be a death, mental illness, or abuse. I don't know why God has put you in the situation you are in, but I do know this for certain. God has a reason for it. When we look at our lives currently, it may be very difficult to understand why we may be going through this hardship. But God loves you, I can assure you of that. Jeremiah 29:11 says, '' ' For I know the plans I have for you, ' declares the Lord, ' plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope, and a future. ' '' God is not the enemy. You're going through this hardship for a reason, and you'll only come out of it stronger, closer to God, and better able to understand someone who went through the same things as you. I'll leave you with this last verse that has been a comfort to me. '' The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. '' -Psalm 34:18 God hears you. God sees the pain you're going through. He may not be answering your prays right now, but that doesn't mean he doesn't hear you or see you. He knows what you're going through, and He will do wonderful things with the situation you're in. Last year, I would not have been able to say this, but I'm grateful for what I went through. I'm grateful for all the pain because now I can better understand people who go through the same things. It drew my nearer to God. Just in case someone hasn't told you this recently, I love you, and God loves you also. God be with you all.

God has not turned his back on you, God has a plan for you to make you stronger. I suffer from anxiety. Last year I was at my lowest point and I just couldn't take life anymore. I was getting bullied at school and I just found out my sexuality. I wasn't doing very good in school failing tests because I just didn't believe in myself. Nobody liked me in my school. Nobody cared. Nobody asked me what's wrong when I had mental breakdowns. They sat there, stared, whispered about me, and made up rumors about me. I hated that year. But I went to this christian camp, it wasn't my first year there but my connection with god has not been stronger. I started praying and now everything is better. I still have anxiety, but I feel better and I am no longer bullied, my grades are higher because God helped me raise my self esteem and my confidence. God let me do that stuff ever since I got diagnosed. (at age 3) But I am stronger than ever because I experienced a lot and I have gone through a lot because he lot me go through all of that stuff and I have used all that anger all that stress all that sadness all that hopelessness all those tests I failed to make me a stronger person and make me the person I am today. No matter how bad things are, no matter what your relationship with God, he loves us no matter what. I at one time blamed him and hated him for taking my fiance from me January 15, 2015... before me she didn't know Jesus, God, etc. She asked me and I taught her about him, through me she accepted Christ as her savior, and a couple months later she passed away... I felt robbed, I felt, why am I doing this for you for her to be taken away from me... it took me many years to realize that I was introduced to her so that I could prepare her for what was to come..... Through that time, feeling abandoned, I turned to addiction, it created a version of me that I did not like. It took me just until recently to realize that no matter how much I hated and blamed him, he still loved me. In times of darkness even if you turn away from him, he still loves you, no matter how much or how far away you are., God almighty carries us. As someone who goes to church and is friends with a pastor, I know God will forgive you. He knows what’s in your heart and as long as you believe that God loves you and Jesus died for our sins. He will forgive you I don’t really spread the gospel much either but if I ever see people who are struggling, I help them I told him God is with them and that right there is enough to show someone else you care, and God cares you may not spread the gospel, but as long as you spread God’s word and say, God loves you and he’s with you that is more than enough. I’m 17 years old and I have struggled, but I always knew God was with me and God has helped me a lot. And I will never forget that

My mom found out she had a brain tumor augest 19th .. She has it removed the 12th of October .. After more tests. She had mastic cancer. .and she fought for 2 month before the cancer took her Christmas Eve (2023). She was the most bravest and strongest woman. I have ever met. The most loving caring mother anyone could ask for .. On January 12th I got in to a really bad car accident . since then I feel lost alone and angry .. I need help . ive called trying to get in a talk to a therapist but everywhere i called is booked 6-8 weeks out . I know your with me lord and mom. I just miss you so much it hurts .. Once, in a family service, we heard this praise, I got goosebumps and felt an incredible presence. Id like to share my story.... im 15 now, through out my life until I was 12 my father had been an alcoholic and drug addict. Pills, weed, anything you can think of he'd done. Yes, weed, yes you can be addicted. Its different for everyone. Not everyone can be addicted, my father was. Thats the end of the conversation. On this day he got fired from his job and realized he wouldn't be able to get alcohol or drugs anymore, so he popped 30 or more pills and drank until he could barely hold it. He tried to take his life. God saved him. God kept him with me. God has given my father his life back. He's three years clean and sober and im so proud of him. Whatever you're going through, God will not fail you. Be patient and pray. Amen .

My father is an alcoholic too. He's a great dad. But he's another person when he drinks. As a teenager I'm always ashamed of my father. But nothing is more happier than a daughter without a father. I hope he will change.

This happened to me but My sin was me doubting my religion and I regret it.. I also started crying but while praying🙏🏼 For me it felt like God was there listening to me! This means God will always be there to listen so don’t ever stop praying because there is so much power in praying.. Just one prayer can result to many great things! I don't remember when I last heard this song, I just played it tonight and realised how God has been using me. I am forever grateful. If you ever feel like you are not good enough, if you feel like giving up. Just remember that God does not put us in situations he knows we can't get out of. even when you turned on him he never turned on you. I did the same and i cried my eyes out bc God showed me through prayer that he never left even when i tried multiple times to commit suicide he was holding my hand and made sure those pills didn’t kill me even though they should have.
