When I first heard this song I was falling from god. My best friend and older brother commited suicide and I felt weak. Nothing was going my way,me and my girlfriend at the time were fighting a lot and I just didn't feel spiritually alive anymore. Felt like I was dead with them. Then I went to this mission serve trip at my church and the band played this song. I held it in as long as I could but when we had devotions after I couldn't hold it anymore. I started crying, I've cried more then I had in years. This song has changed my perspective on life. Sometimes bad things happen but you have to go out your comfort zone to face your fears and that's exactly what i started doing. I've found myself closer to God and I'm thankful for it. He may put obstacles in your life but you just have to face then and show your strong.

And once we step out that's when God steps in. This song emphasises this notion to me. All about trusting God and keeping our eyes above the waves, that is on Jesus, moment by moment, if we have to. On 8/27/2012 I had a tsunami vision. It was bigger than the one that hit Japan 3/11/2011. I was watching video of the Japanese tsunami one night, grieving for them and for what I knew was coming to our shores. I was crying and praying, and I asked God for comfort. 15 minutes later I came across this song for the first time. I'd never heard it before. It has truly brought me comfort.
