OCFA Fire Academy 54 Graduation - May 6, 2022

My son-in-law, David Price, graduated from the Orange County Fire Authority Academy #54 on May 6, 2022. It was an amazing night. Academy #54 was made up exclusively of lateral transfers, experienced fire fighters from other departments who took a chance and decided they wanted to see if they had what it takes to make it through the rigorous process of becoming a fire fighter for the OCFA. 35 of them made it through and graduated tonight. I tried to highlight some of what happened. We are all very proud of this group of firefighters and what they accomplished in 8 weeks.

Congrats David. I worked with your father back in his Santa Ana days. I retired from OCFA in 2010. May your career be as rewarding to you, as it was to me. Stay safe
