The government may not have the money now but when they do they should expand the main road from Montego Bay to Negril into a four-lane highway. That section of the main road where the hotels, the pedestrian's crossings, and the street center white line needs to be repainted.

I see a few Noth Americans and Europeans buying lands in Negril. The government should have a city development plan for Negril. It should be that people just buy land and build but any construction should fall in the city development. Negril can be a city, not just a city but an international city. Foreigners lovely it but make a city for locals and foreigners. The Jamaican government is short sited but I hope they focus on this idea.

Wow that's why I l0ve about traveling and relocating to Jamaica. I Love the sight and every town that ya pass through I'm quite sure many people didn't realize it takes time getting from one parish to another I enjoy how ya called out pinpoint markers, hotels, beaches, restaurants, tourist attractions , shopes and stores most of all driving safety. i Remember back in 1988 my first time to Negril the roads were lot crazier then. Miss the roundabout having a meal at Sweet Spice , MX 3 and then chilling out at Xtabi and LTU pub and Palace View 1 mile past the lighthouse

All I know is that I HATE driving through Lucea every single time. I wish they would build a bridge to cross that water way for those going to Negril and not needing to stop in Lucea. BUT, I remember back when even driving from Mobay to Negril used to take 3 hours.

Lovely Video. Very informative as well. What ride do you have? It has a sturdy beastly growl. Sweet acceleration as well. Must say the driving is somewhat indicative of the Jamaica road culture.
